Hey...so...

If you've got a beef with someone here, airing it in threads is...well, it's frustrating. See, lots of us here are friends with lots of us here, and when a couple of people get into it publicly, the rest of us are like...WHOA. This stuff isn't any of our business. I mean, I guess if it doesn't bother y'all to have us all watching from the sidelines, ok, but...I dunno, it makes ME uncomfortable. Obviously I could choose to simply not read posts that should have been private messages...which is also an option...but when it's all posted for everyone to see, it feels like we're being asked to take sides. And that stinks.

Maybe we just need one of these for this forum...?

Yay! Another slow day at work. I am thoroughly enjoying getting paid by the hour and getting older by the minute....why can't it be 5 O'clock already.

DO WHILE (Hour != 1700)
!Must keep working

DO WHILE (Seconds != 60)
Seconds = Seconds + 1
!The seconds are crawling along
END DO

DO WHILE (Minute != 60)
Minute = Minute + 1
!Minute by minute the day goes by
END DO

Hour = Hour + 1
!Getting closer

END DO

Okay. SO.

Maybe using rep points isn't the best method for getting your point across. But it's not much better to publicly talk about someone by saying what cheap shots they made, how cowardly they acted, etc. I know I'm not perfect at this, and there are times where I've gotten frustrated with people on these forums. But I dunno. This...isn't right.

It doesn't matter whether someone has apologized or not, it's about whether you've forgiven them and you've laid the bitterness aside and let that bitterness die off. Doesn't mean you have to be friends, but when you see their name you don't glare at the screen thinking, "Oh boy, what did they say THIS time?" or with annoyance going, "Psh. There's that person again." and I'm not just talking about this specific situation, this goes for any situation with anybody.

But Ugly, you've gotten better over time as far as your attitude goes on here. I've been really happy to see how you've grown. No one is perfect, though. You do still have a lot to work on. But hey, so do I. So does everyone else on this chat.

That's why we DO need to give grace to those who may have wronged us (not just saying that to you, just saying as a general statement).

I like you and PopClick both, and I know you two don't get along the greatest...but I hope you both take into consideration what I said. And maybe discuss this further someplace else unless you two are done discussing?

Or even better yet, maybe Ugly and PopClick could/should ignore each other's barbed-wire posts?? Just sayin'. :/ We make the decision to reply or ignore each other's posts. Maybe they need to employ that option. I agree with lil_christian and some of the others who suggested taking it somewhere else--into a PM maybe?

I haven't really glared at anybody until Mocha had an MRI. Dog's got better health care than I do.

This reminds me....in my house and in my primary school we had the "cúna dána" which means "the bold corner"....yeah....I had to stand with my nose to the wall a few times growing up :)

Just kidding, it's time to bring back the good ol' wooden spoon.

Poor baby. Well thank goodness it only mentally scarred you and you're still pretty :D. I was in time out so much when I got to 1st grade I dragged my chair to the corner.

Hardly.

I don't remember there being time-outs after preschool or kindergarten. I was too much of a goody-two shoes to find out what punishments there were if we got in trouble. I think kids just stood at a corner of the classroom. :p

Did y'all know that pans straight out of a 400 degree oven are approximately 400 degrees to the touch?

I love when my clumsy decides to show up all at once. It's...exciting.

Thank you lil. I agree, actually. And i agree with Cristen, that this should've been PMed, not in a forum. But i wasn't the one that decided to make it public.
Nor am i the one bringing up 2 year old debates. Personally, i'd gotten over all of that and moved on.

I don't expect sides to be taken. There are no sides to take when two people are wrong.
