Some of usthink that being Pastors, Pope, Bishops, Prophets, Bosses, Leaders, Scientist,Musicians, Brilliant, Choir Masters, Elders etc. will give us eternal life ortake us to heaven. But it is clear that we are fooling ourselves because thesewill never take us to heaven or give us eternal life. This is not good at allbecause one of the worst thing a man can do to himself is to fool himself.
What willtake us to heaven is to do the will ofGOD in our lives as we live on earth. It is because of these that JESUSsaid “Not everyone who says to me,‘Lord, Lord’, shall enter the kingdom of heaven but he who does the will of myFather who is in Heaven”. And the will of GOD is very clear and this willis the word of GOD in the Holy Bible; and it says “love the Lord your God withall your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength and with all yourmind; love your neighbors as you love yourself; love your enemy and pray forthem; honor your father and your mother; do not lie; do not kill; do not commitadultery; do not commit fornication; do not worship other gods; forgive so thatyou will be forgiven etc. All these will of GOD are in His word which is in theHoly Bible.
Take notethat this word in the Holy Bible is GODHimself that is why the Bible says “In the beginning was the word; and theword was with GOD; and the word was GOD”. This word is spirit and life.
So we nowknow what will take us to heaven. It is not our positions, the titles we haveor our wives/husbands, our children nor wealth or whatsoever but the will ofGOD in our lives as we live on earth.
Give thanksand glory to the Almighty GOD for He wants each and every one of us to enterHis kingdom.
