How did all of this hoopla about bacon get started anyway? Was it Lady Gaga's meat dress? Just wondering.

Grandad lived to be 95 having for breakfast every day: oatmeal, toast, bacon, eggs (over easy, or up, occasionally scrambled)
cooked IN the bacon grease, and s glass of juice. Each night after dinner, he would have a bowl of Blue Bell Ice Cream.


Man I sure hope my finances hold out such that at 95 I can be eating decent bacon & ice cream!

I think Lady Gaga just douses herself in glue, rolls around in random things, and calls it fashion.

A lot of "popular" singers do that now (Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj, etc.). It's so strange.

I'm sorry to contaminate the wonderful thread of bacon with pop icons such as those.

(oh before I leave in shame...rachel,yer' statement reminds me of a Japanese video game called Beautiful Katamari,where you basically roll around collecting everything that sticks to you. It's bright & colorful & has super good time fun music):)

The dress is creative, clever and a work of art. We must remember though, that not everything that's interesting is good. I really feel for the designer/tailor. It must have been a horribly messy and smelly dress to make (and for Lady Goo Goo Ga Ga to wear). I hope the designer was paid in diamonds. Also, I hope Lady Goo Goo Ga Ga donated the dress to homeless dogs after the awards show.
