So many times, I see Christians who think they have to 'flog themselves' like the monks in the middle ages and feel guilty for just being alive, much less -perish the thought- of feeling good about themselves, actually 'enjoying life' and - one of the most heinous of all considerations --- attraction to the opposite sex; 
...many of these misery-guts types take it upon themselves as some 'God-given directive' to ensure all others feel as horrible as they do, feel worthless and feel less than the rock they keep trying to crawl under and draw others under with them --- and believe that being as cold and emotionless as a stone - feigning some kind of 'anaemic semblance of love' cuts it; --- being guilt-ridden for being alive and making everyone else feel guilty and bad for not feeling the same; as somehow 'being spiritual' and 'godly' ...?!?!
...how is this spiritual?
...how is the reflecting the Image of God?
...how is this celebrating God; the DayStar Christ, dawning within you, bringing a new dawn at every moment in your inner being...?
...how is this celebrating the joy of life and living --- ???
When the TRUE God, the Source of all Love, Light and Joy ... created the Earth --- the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy...
