WANTED: MALE HUNK WITH 1 MILLION DOLLARS, MALE HUNK OPTIONAL.

Haha! In seriousness, I do love the Singles' Forum. There is something special about it, and I think it's because there is no age segregation. I can have conversations with my peers and give advice to those younger than I, and receive mentor-ship from those with more years under their belt. I can see what some men struggle through in their single situation and I can see what other women do when they have no man in their lives. I can be a spoiled cry-baby and freak out about something super "big" in my life and know that I'll receive grace from some people.

I just was thinking to myself, WHY do I spend so much time in this particular forum? There's a place for young adults and there is the Ladies' Forum not to mention seemingly more interesting forums such as Conspiracy and Corruption.

Then I realized that it was because of the blend of people here. There simply is, no denying it, good fellowship here. I know we have a few dramatic spats, but I'd say the majority of the time, we are simply enjoying one another's company and patiently helping each other as needed.

Thanks guys. ~<3

Well said, smudgless artiste, milady :)
The Lord leads. You follow. "...you follow Me." John 21:22

Not always easy, we sooo want to do things of our own devices but whenever we do that it WILL be quite taxing on our lives. God handles our lives: socially, emotionally, physically, medically, and, ALL other 'ally' you can think of. Every thing, His. (Isaiah 66:2) :) Scripture says this sooo important truth: 'He is all and all.'

And, yes, the singles forum is a special place, He's blessed, smudgographer. I've been here for a long time and it's because of God, I believe, truly. And, do I feel blessed being here? You bet ! I enjoy making light fun of things, like ugly and TP suggestion for mizcris instead of throwing marshmallows which is so tame :D. And, I Love the guy, ugly, he offers 'great' dimension to c.c., music etc. which I pray to God I am loving His way of Loving it :)

And, yeah, I hear lately, he was saying he was in ER for something, and, thought a pick-me up green humor post, like TP, would be good-- and his getting marshmallows thrown at him and suggesting (quite suggestively) that mizcris go TP his place would get a laugh, i hope and pray.

And, yeah, serious conversation goes on here, too, not so much want-ads stuff, but, yeah, it does, and, when it does go on, folks like good bro, ugly, prettily talk to the people to take that talk outta here. Cuz, yer OUT ! (of line) Now, that's Love :)

Rep this thread, peoples, smudgels offers good honest thought to everyone and her heart is after God, a young lady seeking Christ in the face of choices that seem sooo much more appealing. The Lord provides. The Lord appeases. The Lord has a yoke which is easy . The Lord leads. :)

No matter how bad you think your life is, there is someone else to remind you that it could be worse.

Your son could have flung diced peaches to every corner of the dining room without any known reason.

You could hate your job.

You could have people keep telling you about how your avatar looks like a jellyfish, no matter how often you tell them it isn't.

You could be constipated.

You could live in Texas, and think that is a good thing.

You could be unemployed.

You could be married but you hang out in the Singles Forum to motivate yourself to never be single again.

You could have serious health problems.

Or, you could just be me!

Although Hawaii is probably the one that wants to go the most. lol

It's ok, Texas will just become it's own country and we'll take over the world. Like we do. :p

I love the singles forum because a thread might start out being about why a person loves the singles forum, and it'll end up being about why everybody hates Texas....

It's fun, see?

Quite honestly if Texas were to successfully secede from the US I would have to move there even though I'm not particularly fond of the whole hot/humid thing

Seahawks messed with Texas last week, or, Houston, technically. That's in Texas, isn't it?
That turned out all right, I thought, especially the ending, overtime win for the Hawks ! It took some time, but was highly appetizing in the end, nonetheless, 'Tex-Mex,' and, boy, did you taste gooooood, like a bowl of shobro's favorite, slow-cooked, chili verde stew :D

In consolation of your loss to us, I do have a very funny feeling that it'll be you Texans, or, the Peyton-led Denver Ponies, that we mess up in the Superbowl . :D

And, THIS is why I love the singles forum, smudgless :) All the guys and miladies from the Lone Star state take my kidding so sportively :D
Oh, wait, we could talk about the Dallas Cowboys.

On second thought. :D

You keep changing your avatar...

It must be camouflage...

But I checked, you're not in Texas. So I can only assume that there is more than one state plotting to take over the US. As long as they're all red states it might be a change for the better. At the very least, it will ensure reliable access to fireworks for every American.

Chances are, the team that wins the NFC East will have less than a .500 record. Cowboys, Eagles, Reuskins, and Giants, not a winner in the bunch.

As for the Seagulls . . .

What football team that has rain most of the time doesn't put a roof on the stadium (they did for the Mariners, and it rains less during their season) but shuts down the game for a little lightening?

There isn't even such a thing as a Seahawk, but I guess it sounds better than Seattle Osprey.

That's right darlin'. They use an osprey to fly around the stadium during games. There will always be broncos.

At least it's better than the Seattle Seagulls, just feed them Alka-Seltzer.

My use of darlin' wasn't in reference to you as a man, just as a way to reference that darlin is to you, as Seahawks are to osprey. Just calling yourself a Seahawk doesn't make it so.
