The difference between this and Seatbelt's 1,000 words thread is you must have taken any pictures you post. I am going to try to post a picture I have taken every week or so, but others are free to post also.

Starting off with a caterpillar I found chilling in the rain this morning. I like to shoot all around a subject I like, and two angles both really worked. So I'll go with two from this morning.

In honor of all-things-spiky, here's an Giant African Porcupine we found hanging out under our deck last year. Yeah, we were kinda surprised. He loved apples. Turns out he was an escapee from the petting zoo. :D

Took these when I was 16 yrs old across the street from our house on my Mom's 110 (yeah 110) camera. Kickin' it old school boi! The 2 dogs are Wembley & Goosey. Both were dogs I had when married. Wembley was an Olde English Bulldogge (who passed away when he was just over a yr old :( and Goosey is a Bulldog, who now resides with his Mum (my ex) in jolly old England.

Pike's Peak from the north. I used to love driving up into this area but it's been closed to the public since the Waldo Canyon fire a year and a half ago

This is just one of my favorite pictures I've ever taken. Dunno why. That bridge is exactly 1.4 miles from my house, I walk over it a lot. I came across a bull elk there once (on the bridge), and one of his antlers was broken and hanging off his head.

Too bad I didn't get a picture of that.

This was my view every night when I was in Guatemala. It's one of my favorite pictures that I've ever taken, and I remember crying the last time I saw this view in person. God's beauty and majesty displayed over such an impoverished area reminded me that His presence was with these people.
