Again, I am not sure how to answer this question because I've not been on enough dates to answer this question fully but I would just say that I went running 13 miles with a girl once, I'd grew up playing soccer, ran the mile in junior high, so, I was a pretty good distance runner. Won the 12-minute run for 7th graders in my junior high, I guess, I can add, too. But, yeah, I one time was asked to go running with a girl for 13 miles and I'd never ran more than a 'fun run' which was a 5K race (3.2 miles) before that in my lifetime.

I ran for 13 miles with this girl from college, we were freshman in same classes but had grown apart after a month of school's beginning in September eating lunch together all the time, so, anyway, we ran and we ran and ran in the snow of January in eastern Washington and I talked and talked and talked and before I knew it we were done. I was not out of breath, not tired, and, we ran the 1/2 marathon distance (she was training for a Marathon in February) in right around an hour, which was a fairly fast pace. I was ready to run another 13 miles, too, with THIS girl.

That's 'where' I went that was the best-place invite by a girl :)

Where's yours ? :)

cheychey is my nic for you, i nic everyone, unless they voice disapproval. so, you been called that a few times, huh? interesting, I kinda guessed 'chey' was not your real name (cheyenne?) but, I guess, too, if your real name was 'cheyenne' that others could get to 'cheychey' out of that. :) Now, if your name is 'Cheyenne' let me know, I am going to change your name again , a slight variance to your name now, OK, chychy. :D

ohh ok :)

no my name is Cheryl.. My ex husband and my sister both took the R and L out of it and called me "Chey" (Shay) so it stuck..

but usually when someone gets to know me it becomes CheyChey or Cheybear or whatever else they can think of when they say my nick:)
btw I am a "namer" too..
I always have endearing names or silly names for people I know..
one of our guest guitarists on the praise team always bring's this HUGE pedal board on platform with him..it gets bigger everytime I see it and reminds me of a bomb board or something.. so I have nicked named him the "Guiterrorist" :)
Our drummer who is about 24 is a genius when it comes to music and our keyboard player plays guitar, keyboard and drums ..they both play different instruments so I alternate Boy Wonder and Boy Genius between them :)
see what I mean?

I think it's cute!:)
I love that someone else does it too:) and I take NO offense depending on what you call me : )

btw I kept the nick because as Cheryl I hated my name and also wanted to forget the past where I was known as that ..
but last year God told me to look up the definition of Cheryl .. it was "beloved"
if you knew my whole testimony you could see why that meant so much to me..
it was just really special and so like our Abba. :)

anyway I still stick with Chey because it's my Texas name..my california family calls me Cheryl in person, Chey in facebook.. (some of them still call me Cheryl) the very RARE times my ex husband and I speak he calls me Cheryl..
(oddly since he picked the nick )
and a couple of my male christian friends call me Cheryl on purpose :)
I know why they do it..cause thats the name I was born with :)
but I still go by Chey :)

Of course not, Chey; it's MY job to get upset when Green makes up a name for me that I don't like :D. There's only enough room for ONE of us who does that in this forum ;).

A woman once took me to a very high cliff which had a beautiful and breath-taking view overlooking a visually spectacular ocean. When I turned to her to ask her why she brought me there, she was gone. All I found was a note on the ground which read, "Descyple, it's time for me to move on from this relationship, but I want to encourage you to take a leap of faith and spread your wings and fly."

That was the most romantic and encouraging break up I've ever experienced.

But to be honest, I'm still not sure what she meant by "take a leap of faith" while I stood at the edge of the cliff. I guess I'll never know!!!

Yeah, the Lord leads, so, I nic people, cheychey. And, yeah, some say not to so I don't :)
Yeah, cool names for your guitarist and keyboarder, some musical folks are quite gifted from God in that way and you don't know it, perhaps, but, I bet, your inspiring them by your silliness with them, naming them.
God wants life for us to be fun, so, have fun, be creative, and, most importantly, be yourself :)

Wow ! That is something, I would say that girl is a KEEPER !!! But, sounds like she flew away, descyped.
Oh well, bro, think of the beautifulness of that moment, a girl inspiring you in life in that way.
I'd say, God's really got plans out there for you in some great way of 'feat,' but, that's for you to find out with Him.

Some girl out there is going to see your depth and want to fly with you wherever He takes you, even, when He asks you to...........

leap. :)
Our whole lives are to be about faith in Him once we have Him, don't ever forget that, brother :)

I just have to stop a minute and admire your optimism sir! I would have taken that note quite differently. I guess I'm a glass half empty sort of person.
