Could being baptized at the same time mean God wants them to be together?

Ok so I feel this spiritual connection with this girl... and when I decided to get baptized, she said that the Lord put on her heart to get baptized too... and we had the same group of friends, and we were both baptized at the same time in the same river by our friends. What do you guys think? I feel like the Lord might of told me we are supposed to be together but I'm not sure....

I wouldn't put too much meaning on it. I'm glad you are both going to get baptized though!

I don't think it means something. It just means that she is a believer who got baptized at the same time as you (which is great!) and that you are interested in her.

Who knows what God wants at this time. My guess is stop looking for some 'sign' of this. Just talk to her.
I find most people who get like you are, thinking 'God' is putting it on your heart, really mean 'i like this person and i HOPE God is putting her/him on my heart'. Rarely does it work out that this is actually God.

And as far as the title, absolutely not. Baptism is a public declaration of your faith and a symbol of rebirth. I don't think God would cheapen that using it as a dating method.

Well you know you and this young lady are on the same wave length. Try and get to know her and see were it goes.

Sometimes the meaning behind the blue drapes, is that the drapes were blue.

Yeah agreed with everyone else pretty much. Take it easy and as far as the word from God goes, "test the spirit" as the Bible says. God won't mind you being extra cautious, there's a lot at stake. Seek Him, and He will make it work out if that is what He wants.
