So... did anyone have a "resolution" for 2013? Did you keep it?

Does anyone plan on making one for the new year?

My informal resolution for 2013 was to get in shape and stay there. I am happy to say that I did it! Still have a long way to go but I'm working out 3-4 days a week, have kept up a regular routine all year, and am in better shape than I've ever been. :D

I resolve to get back in shape (for real this time) and run a 5k race/event. I know that doesn't sound like much but I had a debilitating knee injury for awhile. I don't have an excuse for not continuing to lift weights though.

By the end of next year I want to look like this...

@ Zero...dude...I already assumed you looked like that!!! sheesh, what a let down. lol

I'd like to get into shape as well. The shape of a circle.

I'd like to make a resolution to not have a continued terrible streak of "luck"? Oh wait.. christians don't believe in luck or use that term...ummm..man,help me out here...not to have any more bad things happen to me completely out of my control? I dunno how to word this! Google, thou hast forsook me.

I tried a few times to make new years resolutions when I was in my late teens / early twenties, but always failed & then felt guilty afterward. Stuff like "spend more time with God,or pray more,or read the bible more" The usual cliche christian type stuff you are supposed to say around your other christian friends or church body so that you look spiritual or like you have yer life together.

I think I will make a resolution to make less resolutions this year.

Putting all behind me. I have in the last month been working slowly on my resolution.
I found a quote in the book I am studying: "Stairway to Success". A lofty goal for a guy with a million bad habits.
"Concerning all acts of initiative and creation, there is one elementary truth --that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves, too. --Goethe
Therefore my resolution for 2014 is to be committed to maximum personal and professional achievement. With the hope I will through diligent effort give my utmost for His highest. To the glory of God; Amen! and it would help a whole lot if you would pray for me. Thank you sister for starting this thread.

Mine was to eat more veggies.

That didn't happen. :p It's hard to make good tasting veggie dishes I like because of the whole wheat and dairy allergy thing. But I will keep trying to find ways to do it!! No matter what time of the year!

Next year my goal is to get back into clothes that haven't been able to fit in anymore for almost two years, and to keep it that way. :) (Though I'm starting right now. Don't get me wrong on that one. I'm so starting now. This goal carries out into the new year since I can't just do it in a month.)

Haha... perhaps I should have said... what ACCOMPLISHMENTS have you all gained this last year? I know all of us can look back and see some inward improvements!

I'm praying for you in that, for this year Brokenclay. :)

Last lines seem to be an AD promoting someone "who is in shape"...
