It is going to snow in a couple of days here. Again.. *sigh*

I'm getting road trip fever. How about you?
Let's run away!

So, where do you want to go right this minute?
What music would you be listening too?
What snacks would you take?

Mine isn't exactly a road trip... more like an 'adventure' I would go to Canada, and perhaps have a road trip when I get there I don't care where we go as long as it's fun!! probably some amusement parks, hit every bookstore we can find, go on a picnic.. drive into the country and spend some time there.

I would take so many snacks it's ridiculous hahhahah

My choice of music would be a mix of my favorite worship songs and some of my personal favorite pop songs and such.

I want to go to the ocean. The pacific is the closest one to me (about 90 miles), but I'd like to see the Atlantic some time. Or the Gulf when it's not so humid my hair will stand on end.

Music... I'm pretty open. As long as it's not One Direction and nonsense like that.

Snacks... Caffeine, chocolate, and gummies.

Let's go up the Oregon coastline! Maybe all the way up to Washington. Seattle, maybe.

I'll pack sourdough, cheese, fruit, and some wine. We'll have to stop and picnic...you know....open containers while driving and all. Wouldn't want you to have to bust me. That would kind of ruin the trip.

ohh....forgot about the music.

For every road trip, I need:
Scheherazade - Rimsky-Korsokov
a couple of Billy Joel CD's (one of them has to be "An Innocent Man")
Chris Rice
Old School Petra

two or three more -- as long as I have the above, I'm happy...

pssst...Catherder... I was pulled over for speeding Saturday night. No ticket, but I definitely deserved one. :)

He smiled and said he'd just planned to give me a warning anyway :)

Don't tell anybody! ;)

The OR coastline to visit all the Lighthouses is definitely on my prayer. I'm neither crazy about WA nor CA, but OR, oh Yeah! :)

I LOVE lighthouses too, BananaPie! :) Wouldn't it be awesome to live in one?

I drove up to Niagara Falls a couple of Summers ago. Drove up to northern Ohio and followed the Great Lakes around. I saw so many great lighthouses along the way. :) There are some fun ones along the Georgia coastline too.

It is supposed to snow here on Wednesday.

If i could take a road trip it would be to Wyoming!

I would listen to anything, i love music in general.

I would bring trail mix! However, it has to be the trail mix with the m&m's and i would methodically pick out all the m&m's and leave the rest.

That's just how i roll

A road trip with me would not involve a car, but bikes - biking across Prince Edward Island (see view of one of my past bike trips below).

For food, we would have ice-cold water and mini-bites of chocolate-covered granola bars (we can't eat too much while biking, or stomach cramps will ensue).

And for music, we will have the awesome sounds of God's creation to indulge our ears!!!

That sounds pretty amazing! Though I don't know how far I'd get on a bike. Beautiful picture.

Thank you for the picture compliment, Grace.

But don't worry about falling behind, we'll install a Harley Davidson motor to your bike so you can keep up with the group!!!

Pacific Coast - I'm in! I just need someone else to do all the driving so I can stare off into the distance, sing along to the radio and daydream. :) Let's take Shour's convertible and put the top down!

Music? Well, right now it's I'll Go Wherever You Will Go by The Calling. That seems appropriate.

SNACKS... You can't have a road trip without homemade beef jerky!

Sighs....

It's been a couple of years since I took a road trip, the cost of fuel is almost prohibitive. I would want to go up into the north east part of the country, I haven't been there since I was a kid but the memories stay with me to this day.

I have roadtripped to/through Wyoming before. It's amazing, and I'm itching to go through South Dakota and sight see and then go through Wyoming again.

I think road trips with people are fun (especially my family) but I don't mind driving by myself, blasting the music. But, assuming the road trip is with other people, I'd travel out west to the mountains, listening to anything but country and One Direction type music, and have Cheezits, Oreos, and juice as snacks. :D

Well, when you drive a big ol' pick up truck (preferrably down Highway 40 with Freddie Prinze, Jr.), yeah, fuel is prohibitive. That's why you get something that trips on sips, yo.

The answer to all things automotive...

Miata.

*runs away cackling*

(Of course, I DO see the irony of telling a die-hard Dodge truck owner the joys of Mazdaness...when Ram nee' Dodge is basically Fiat now...and Fiat just entered into a partnership with...that's right...Mazda. It was meant to be!)
