What's your favorite store and what do you like to buy or shop for there? :)

I know this is a highly materialistic thread and that the love of money is the root of all evil, so here is a little disclaimer:

WARNING - FOR MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY
May contain Strong Language (i.e., "I love to shop!")
or Adult Situations (i.e., "I couldn't help but buy it!")

:D Have fun!!

I used to like Borders a lot because they had a great selection of Classic Literature. Most my books come from Borders. But they closed down a few years ago, so I guess that's kinda moot now. Heh I tried to shop at Books-A-Million which replaced my Borders store, but to be honest, their selection was pitiful, too much contemporary garbage, not enough classics. So I haven't even bothered with them again since. Though now that you got me thinking perhaps I should give B-A-M a second chance.

iherb.com, they have such a big selection of organic foods (dairy free, gluten free etc etc) that you just can't get in the little country I live in. Shipping is cheap and fast too. I like to get shampoo, conditioner and lotions etc from the site also.

Basically any auto parts store. Boot Country. Work Country. Redwing Shoe Stores. (You women think your shoes are expensive you may very well die if you knew what my work boots cost.) lol. Those are my favorite along with stores like Tractor Supply, Rural King. Love shopping at them all because i can always find some new tool or somethng to buy. Keep in mind i'm entranced by double front logger jeans with knee pad pockets. Don't realize how amazing knee pads are till you gotta be on your knee on concrete.

sephora & the body shop (and the like) - lipgloss, body butter and anything girly. or simply things that smell good. i probably have enough skin care for a lifetime.

boots and shoes sites/stores - nuff said. i'm always scanning for my next pair. few things make me giddy like a new pair of boots can. ; )

organizational & office sites and stores - places like the container store and office depot. i always love creative ways to store and display things, office supplies and my pen collection is constantly growing.

supplements and healthy food stores - i can spend some time in my health food store reading labels. i am always looking for something new and interesting.

what i don't like to shop for much is clothes. i am probably unorthodox (for a female) in that i will shop for clothes at a brisk pace. i very seldom try things on (i can usually eyeball a good fit) and hate all the effort required to mine for something i like. internet shopping has done wonders for my closet.

I love TJ Maxx... They have the cutest housewares, and a great selection of good quality athletic clothing. It's just a neat place to shop.

Lolol I have found stuff that costs more than a dollar in there, so your words are not without reason.

I love books. I check out the interesting facts books, books on gemology and other crafts, page through books from other religions and also run into the occasional exotic find like the Vampire Hunter D novels. Too poor to actually buy anything, but my father insists on giving me presents for my birthday and buys me something I may or may not like unless I specify. So I usually tell him of a book that I'm interested in.

If I can, as far as health foods go, I'll try and look for specific brands online and then read the ingredients ahead of time.

There's a store I like that no one's put down yet - the music store!! :D I actually prefer a small local one in my town. They've treated my whole family with nothing but respect and they'll even give us discounts from time to time on things like guitar strings.

I' am going to be honest, I shop way to much, my favorite walk in stores are American Eagle Outfitters, Ross, Ace Hardware, and Sears. Online stores consist of Amazon, Ebay, and Eastbay.
