Guys, Do You Prefer Long Hair or Short Hair On Women?

Hey everyone,

Dothackzero made me think of an interesting point... we women (at least the ones I know) always hear that guys pretty much always prefer long (as long as possible), flowing hair on women...

Is that true? What's your personal preference or does it really depend on the girl?

It depends on the girl but I have always thought shorter hair on women, compared to long flowing hair can look better and really cute, but it really depends on someone's facial features and build etc... but I don't have a particular preference for one or the other, although a lot of people I have known think short hair on women is just bad and unattractive, I never agreed with that.

If I had the choice I'd probably opt for shorter hair rather than long.

What if it's so long that she gets stuck in doorways and trips on her own hair? What if you were taking her out on a date and her long, long hair accidentally got caught in the door of your vehicle? Or fell right into your food across the table?

Actually I prefer bald women. Then I can wax her head and give it a nice shine. Wax on, wax off. There's a few advantages. No hair in your face, no hair down the sink, and she has more time in the day to worry about more important things than her hair.

I would say long, but to a degree. I don't want hair that is past her knees or anything, so I guess medium length would be the proper wording.

Personnally, I like long hair, but have seen lots of beautiful women with short hair. I really think their personality best decribes their hair style and that is all that I need to see someone as beautiful.

so... when i have long hair (as in past my shoulders) i wear it tied up like 99% of the time, but when i have it cut short (as in above my shoulders in a carefree flicking out layered style) i wear it out all the time... so then, which is better??? tied up or short?

Well, my one and only girlfriend so far (now ex) wore her hair medium length for quite a while. Eventually though, she got sick of styling it, and cut it very short. I didn't really like the way she looked with it, but it made her happy, so I kept quiet.

Personally, I'd prefer shoulder-length hair or so, but not much longer than that. One of the women in my family even grew her hair down past her backside at one point (no joke).
