Well friend I've been told by women for as long as I can remember (including childhood) that I'm not all that pretty and it was done in a way that was very harsh. The result is I've never been married and I've never wanted to be anyway. Women are just awful especially these days and if your looks don't add up to their ridiculous standards they'll be mean. The irony is that the cute girls are likely wondering if they measure up to a cute guys standards.

I've seen relationships that didn't work out and/or had problems and some were good looking couples so it clearly isn't about looks.

Having a girlfriend or wife isn't the be all of life. Marriage is just temporary institution in the current dispensation. Have you heard about the three rings? Engagement ring>>>>Marriage ring>>>>Suffering

This is what God has in mind for you whether it includes marriage or not:

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

I'm on the train for kenthomas to put his pic bad up! It wasn't a bad picture. In fact, for some reason I thought it was from a movie, you looked deep in thought while driving a car. Which, apparently...happens a lot in movies, in my mind.
Have you ever waited SO LONG to use something and the opportunity just never surfaced?? Well it's my lucky day isn't it. Here goes: " I wanted to take a ride on the Nope Train and dancing seemed like a good way to board it. "

Thomas, I saw your picture when I wasn't logged in and you look fine! In fact, you looked very fun-loving, like you'd love to spend the day with Pipp, Grace, Rachel, me and the other girls here when we go ... er, I mean IF we were to HYPOTHETICALLY go to a certain zoo and do an experiment feeding the monkeys cupcakes to see how the people around us react, especially if the cupcakes are well-decorated (will the onlookers protest more if they want the desserts for themselves instead of simply trying to encourage others obey the "don't feed the animals" sign? I mean, if such a non-existent study were to take place, of course).

Is it possible that the people who un-friended you simply had their accounts suspended? That erases all the friends on their list; when you re-activate the account you have to re-friend everyone.

Oh, and if they did it because they didn't like the way you look, they never were your friend to begin with.

You be the lookout; alert us via text if zoo staff approaches, and distract them with one of your impersonations.

That is a rude and unfair thing to say. Just thought I'd let you know.

Whatever the women in your past have said and done to you, they will answer for. That is their problem. But your continued sour attitude towards females in general is YOUR problem, and one that I suggest you work on.

Hi FanofJesus1992,

You know, looks are never the defining factor to get someone to notice you. Yes sometimes people are attractive, but we are like little clay cups.

Sometimes the outside of a cup is beautifully decorated and people will like to pick it up, but if what is inside is just filthy water or poison, who's going to drink from it?

It's useless.

That cold , beautiful water on a hot scorching day that a simple earthen cup provides is more precious than some fancy shmancy cup with filth.

It's what's inside that matters.
People who can't see you for who you are - a child of God, are just missing out.

Jesus though sees your heart. God loves you very much.
Enjoy this moment of spending more time and getting to know your Creator more.
There is a right time and place for anything and I am sure God will answer all your needs.

God bless you.

I'd totally go to the zoo with Thomas and Fan. We should even drag Firewire along, because I know there's a sweet and humorous spirit in there - I have seen it. :D

We will need to keep an extra eye on Thomas though... to make sure he doesn't try to taxiderm anything. If I see any horrendously ill-posed or psychotic looking animals standing a little too still, being a little too silent, or looking a little too much like seating arrangements... I'm going to be suspicious.

So I'm 21 years old and never actually had a girlfriend. As your can see from my pic I'm not that cute or handsome. So do you guys think I will ever get one?
I think that depends on your attitude. I for one would never want to date a girl who is constantly putting herself down, and I would think the ladies would be the same way towards men. You are a man made by God, and if anyone passes you over on account of the way you look, consider it a blessing. Don't forget how high the breakup/divorce rate is.

Ask God to fill you with Him. If a girl is attracted to the Jesus that's in you, how much greater is that? And if you remain single, you'll still be full of God! It's a win-win. By the way, I had never had a girlfriend at your age, so don't think I'm just trying to make you feel better. I know how it is.

What I want to know is, how can you determine women are worse these days if you have always been told that you're not all that pretty? Is this just the 'longing for the olden days' type of thing? I would imagine girls from the 1960's, 1860's 1760's and on back had a segment of meanness in them. I'm willing to bet some men have said hurtful things to women as well! Maybe even right in this thread!

AS afr as I KNOW, Fano:

Girls aren´t too concern at my age, but on money, the things they think they need and sex (I don´t regret telling you this, because these are the things I have seen and lived out).

Additionally, my advice, is don´t show them selfpity. They will see you weak, "unlovable" once you show you real concern, probably based on recurrent rejection (or so).

You are not a demon, you are not an evil and, the human EGO is the hardest thing to beat and conquer within yourself.

Besides, ABSOLUTELLY confirmed: Love is a gift! That is a love given gift.

Save a lot, work a lot! ($)

Just look at Michaerl Jackson, he had problems to accept himself and did what he thought he needed to be accepted but, the real thing drawing people to him were: Money, fame... Although I like his music, he was highly talented (but a loner). So you better change to avoid being a loner.

I´m a loner. I don´t regret it too much now and, besides, I´m happy because -one day- my search will be over (while I´m getting older).

May GOD give you a person WHO LOVES YOU for the person you are.

The thing is, when you get too much money, when you dress up the way THEY WOULD LIKE YOU MORE... Will they love you for the person you are? or for the person they think you are?

This girl wanted me to change: Beach.jpg

Will you change (and renounce) the person you really are? Isn´t this a denial of the person you are?

The most imortant thing in life is acceptance (self-acceptance). I know I can love a person who has got AIDs, who is sick or facing some ailments but, one who feels selfpity, one who wants me to be another person I am not, is a pain I cannot bear.

What´s wrong in you, brother? I see nothing wrong and WITHIN YOU, your soul, is the real man you are: Just polish that inner man who felt despised and hurt, because any present would come in a fancy box, with a beautiful ribbon, but THE INSIDE OF EACH PERSON is what really matters.

Stop hurting yourself! You don´t deserve that, man.

The only person I know worths my resignation, my renouncing and surrendering of all is GOD.

There´s no one else who would give me THE BEST, than He.

Accept the man you are: He loves us the way we are: Big, or fat, young or old.

He loves us all!

I'm 30 and still single. You can learn a lot about godliness from marriage, but you are also more free to be a minister for God if you are single. I mean that being single allows one more time to spend with the lost, hurting, and broken and where as having a family takes time away from that.

Pray that God will show you who to marry one day, but don't let that be your main prayer. Ask God to show you what to do with the time you are given right now, being single.

God bless you!
Here is a place where to start... Action International Ministries - Opportunities - Colombia: Street Evangelism Workers

Though I know it can be done EVERYWHERE. There´s no real excuse to rejection, except there is not real personal acceptance: I am me! And that´s what really matter. If a person comes and accept you, Jano, the way you are, that´s the best place to start (anew), brother..

I am a Red Wing fan myself. Get a haircut son! There is no reason why you cannot have a girl friend. Pray for God to build up your confidence and self-esteem.
Let´s suppose he has a haircut, What would be next?

People or persons are easy to ask things, but meager to give, instead.

In my case (this week) I tried to please the woman I like and, expending a night in her presence (editted to avoid censorship), she told me: "I don´t like your feet"

Wow! Do I have any power to make my feet be liked?

I have received 2 haircuts lately.

Each time I went her home she wanted me shaved and she, herself, cut my hair off, to "look" the way she liked... How could I change my feet to please her?

My understanding is this: If a person if not liked, it is Ok but, if I don´t like myself, I would remaind hopeless and, fortunatelly, my feet is and average feet, 7 inches, that is complete and functional but, what about those who cannot walk or dance. What if any tell them: "I don´t like you feet", "you leg", "you etes", etc.

Who am I to ask if I am not an Adonis, a prince or a King?

The world is so selfish, so mundane, that I regret telling you my secular life and experiences, but I´m sure that´s much more than appearances or fashion. If a person is not accepted the person He / She is AS FRIENDS, he has the right to flee from those you lie with the hypocrisy or "kindness" because no one is ugly or beautiful, just within the mind of the person who perceives such ideas of ugliness or beauty.

As a man, I know what I can freely reject from a woman and also know what they reject, but I don´t have, here, the freedom to expose all I have learnt and also, I don´t have the permission to publish the opinions and things my friends have said... Just one example (because I see this very personal):

I have a friend, a neighbor who is married. We had a singer who lived our town and, the moment she married certain wealthy man, my friend said: "I wish I could marry a man like that. He is ugly, ugly as a sin... but he owns several universities (in Venezuela) and I wish I had married one like this..."

That is not the view of all Christian women but, families, somewhat, had played the role od a pimp when telling them: "Marry this" "or leave that" because priorities are set on beauty, money, sex. etc. and, as jesus said: "Your heart is where your treasure is".

I agree and believe in Jesus, the Lord and the Christ, but we -too often- set values on earthly ant temporal things.

I had 2 haircuts in two weeks but, inwardly, I am the same and, of course, I will not change by outer means. Acceptance, too, is another form of love and I spent years to accept myself, because I used to think the way the world wnated me to think and Jesus said:

Joh 15:18 "If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.

Joh 7:7 The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I say that what everyone does is evil.

Joh 15:19 If you had anything in common with the world, the world would love you as one of its own. But you don't have anything in common with the world. I chose you from the world, and that's why the world hates you.

I wanted to correct this, but 5 min in my poor connection hindered to: "...but I´m sure that´s much more than appearances or fashion. If a person is not accepted the person he / she is AS FRIENDS, he has the right to flee from those WHO lie with hypocrisy or some mild "kindness", because no one is ugly or beautiful, just within the mind of the person who perceives such ideas of ugliness or beauty. ..."

View attachment 78752 So I'm 21 years old and never actually had a girlfriend. As your can see from my pic I'm not that cute or handsome. So do you guys think I will ever get one?
Hey man, you shouldn't feel that way. Look, when I was your age, I had gray hair already and looked 35 or 45. The older ladies those age or older thought I was their age and wanted me! So, you are blessed! The ladies your age and my age back then thought I was too old and I refused to dye my hair because I believe in make ups and hair dyes are part of being a cover or being a circus freak clown (a clown phobia here).

You know what?? You are blessed with the looks you have because YOU can see how BAD the ladies are.. No offense ladies!! What I am trying to tell him is that he has an advantage that ladies do not. He can see their judgment!!

So, my dear brother, you can see they are judging you and that will bite them back. For me, my advantages are.. yes are as in plural objectives. Not just hair, I am height challenged at 5 feet 2.5 inches (without shoes), Deaf, blind in one eye, and a challenge to communicate with women who are Hearing. There, I said a handful. Not only that.. I am an intellectual and creative person. And the way I talk too. Heard of Dr. Sheldon Cooper? I talk like him and thinks like him sometimes.. I am a geek. An artistic geek if you will.

As time went on, I dated quite a bit of beautiful women my age when I got older.

21 years old today is not the same as it was 40 years ago. 29 years old today is like 19 years old today. Depends on what you are talking about though.

Give it time, man. Pray about it. Pray and fasting. You will get your answer. When I was 20, God gave me clues to whom my bride is and I am still waiting. Everyone is different. plans are different which makes it unique for everyone.

Hey, you may will be blessed with something else soon and have the right one comes along later.

My advice is, get a job first.. if you are in college, go to college first then a job. That way you are settled and ready when God sees you then He will show you the right one.

I was married at 41 but ended 4 years later.. I am 49 now. I like to have a child of my own.. that is a whole another ball game of wanting someone special.

For me, its 49 years old and still fatherless. So, you have it easier than me.

When gray haired ladies put their hair dye in, sometimes it eventually turns blue.

Have a look on this fancy face!

Hope you never need to please other to be sought, loved or cherished.

If you don´t love YOU, you would have problems to love others, as Jesus said ( )
