Just two more minutes to midnight, what to do with the rest of the day?

Either thank God for the wonderful day that you've had or tell Him that you're sorry and that tomorrow you will try harder.

Ok my midnight confession. I am sleeping in my bed the right way tonight because I normally sleep in it upside down and its not killing my back so that's gooood.
I am also thinking about looking into reading more into pastry arts and baking :p
If my dad doesn't spontaneously kick me out, I may study it for real.

I am grateful to God for steering me to Christian Chat and the wonderful individuals I have met here. In the coming days I will be spending less time on this site but there will be those who remain in my prayers. God bless each and everyone.

Up at a little past midnight and now 2 AM.....but the good news is that my night time prowlings have become far fewer than there used to be. I think my husband praying I sleep better has been beneficial for this but once again I will flood the site playing in the threads we have started to keep myself amused.....although not amusing to some....oh well....whatever...

I take the smallest of things so personally that it's no wonder why nobody takes me seriously. I can't even take myself seriously. Just wish it would be over and I could have thicker skin...

I take you seriously. We all could use a thicker skin at times because it can be a hard world that we live in. It says in the bible that if you are faithful in the small things God will trust you with the bigger things. You are much too hard on yourself. God sees you and loves you and knows that you are doing a good job.

It has been a hard day today with my battle against nicotine addiction. Earlier, my wife left for a few hours so I thought that I would go to the nearest store and buy a pack. I was just going to have one. OK, maybe two but certainly no more that three. Apparently I still talk like an addict but walk like I have been delivered from an evil addiction. I did not go to the store. Not today anyways. I decided that I am not going to smoke - today. Working on my second month now. One craving at a time.

Jerry,

Several of us at our church have found that repeating, "I am the righteousness of God, in Christ Jesus", works wonders. Of course, at first, you will find yourself saying that more than a hundred times a day......

Based on my previous smoking habits I believe closer to 40-50 times a day sounds about right. I am saying it now.

Anxiety has been having a go at me lately. :/ Thankfully not to the point that I'd have severe physical effects, but I do worry that I could snap at certain points. Much of it has to do with circumstances, many of which I placed on myself. I don't know where I'm going with anything, if anywhere at all. Then there's stuff that I've been needing to do but I would procrastinate or have no motivation to do them despite that I'd become anxious not to do them... Then, of course, there's the questioning of having any type of faith and whether or not it's worth the fight since I continue on with the mess I've made with sin. Plus I just question everything and that there's the possibility that this all could mean nothing. Oh, but that's not all. Don't know if I feel comfortable to share it at this time, however.

Really... what am I going to do with myself?

Just saw that this thread hasn't been posted on in a few weeks... oops.

You have asked a really deep question, the answer of which each one of us must face in our lives. Stay on course and fight the good fight. God only knows how it is all going to play out. Fear not.

Just pray that I get the Truth. What ever that may be. I need to while I'm still breathing, at least, if not anything further than that.

Thanks for the reputation comments, by the way. I can't give any back.

Sometimes when my coworkers are extra mean to me and say not so nice things and try to ruin my reputation
I like to think that I got promoted as their manager
And the things I would do at that point...
Except it's not mean things that I would do to them
It's more like
I would act really kind to them
That it would make them feel that they would have to quit so I could hire more respectful people.

But then again, this is the random scenario I have played in my head and I appreciate my boss even though she does that to me too :D

And the cute guy at work likes me I think. so I guess I may get something good from all this if they ruin it to the point of me getting canned.
So that's good!
