When one of two do not want to even try, two can not succeed. So on I go, bettering my myself; mentally, spiritually and physically! I am on a journey to heal and move on into what God has for me.

I should clarify....after 13 1/2 years of marriage and 2 kids. this is what is difficult. I know I am in God's hands. And I pray multiple times a day for him to order my steps. So I know he's "got this". Just very very weird!

Hi Burlap, welcome to CC. I am two years into the same journey you are just beginning, and I agree that it's really weird! Like entering a foreign world where you don't know anyone or anything, including the language, the customs, the expectations or the cost of things. It's been a crazy journey but not a bad one. I feel myself learning and growing and becoming a new person that I enjoy very much.

I'm so sorry for the end of your marriage. May you be blessed in your time here with us. I know it has helped me tremendously.
