I would also love to join CC chatting... But from what I hear, people are usually on past midnight my time... Which is difficult as I have to wake up at 0530 for work.

The single's chat room is kinda hit-and-miss. I'll go in there in the evenings by USA Central Standard time and sometimes there will be 0-2 people there while other times the room will be loaded.
It's just after 1am CT(4pm Melbourne time) right now and I counted 13 people in there. 6 hours ago my time (10am Melbourne time) the room had 0-2 people.
From what I can tell, the 13 people seemed to be a pretty evenly spread across the USA. Some are from the east(where it's 2am) and others were from the west coast(where it's 11pm).
My guess is that later evenings USA time is the best time...maybe 2/3pm Melbourne time and for the next few hours thereafter.
