Hey Lav! ^^

I have to apologize that we probably haven't interacted very much (if at all), but I notice you. I often read your posts, but I can't say that faithfully to anyone, as I limit my time and if the forum has multiple pages, I'll often just skim through...

Anyway...that aside...from what I can tell at least, you seem pretty cool. I'm sorry you don't get the responses a lot of others do. I find, in my time here (which has been about 5 years regardless of what the electronic counter says)...that it comes in ebbs and flows. I had people occasionally who liked me, missed me, would talk sometimes or comment... I'm still appreciative to the few that do on occasion.

...but all that to say, of the thousands of posts you see counted, maybe only a quarter (if that) warranted response. Some received trolling...some heavy trolling... Others were read and possibly disregarded...lost in the pile of other posters on the site.

I'm not very consistent in my posts and involvement either, so I can relate there. Life's busy, and unlike the past...I don't have huge amounts of time to waste... (Not that all time spent here is a waste, but I think you can understand...especially those who are FaceBook and other social site addicts...) You don't need to be on the computer all the time. Spend some of your free time outside or learning something new, reading or writing, cleaning, sleeping, or something good for you.

Anyway, that's the second tangent I've gone down...and I apologize that most of my messages are quite long... I understand about being lonely, depressed, down on yourself, unmotivated, and a great deal of other things by which I'm not sure whether or not you could relate. What I do know, though...is that today is a gift. It's a special gift, just for you. God loves you, just as much as He always has, and will continue to forever. This life that you have...it's a gift. You get to choose, in your life, just like in your day, what you want to do, who you want to be, where you want to go. I think we forget that sometimes. We talk about going somewhere and being somebody, you are somewhere...and you are somebody...some important, and special...because there's only one you. God made you, and continues to make you. ^_^ We're all a work-in-progress, lol!

Anyway...I know I'm often in dark places and can relate, I believe, to many of your feelings and some of your experiences. I don't know what to say to make you not feel that way anymore, just like I can't do that for myself... What I can do, again...is tell you that you're awesome! I'm glad you're here...on the site, on the planet, in God's family... Thanks for taking the time to read this, if you do, and know/remember that you're not alone. There are others out there struggling, too, and God is with us for every moment, and thought, and tear... Yeah. ^^0 Anyway, I just wanted to say something. If you ever want to talk (via message or chat or whatever) then please hit me up whenever is good for you. I'll get back eventually... =3 God bless, Lav! God, bless Lav. ^^

thank you AsifinPassing

i would like to say, though, that... i sort of meant lonely just in general.
as crazy as it sounds i actually do have a life ( well sort of, haha ) outside of my computer.
though, i also have reasons for being on a lot of the time.

thank you for the time and thought you took to respond, i guess i just kind of felt like saying that.

I feel like that at least 3-4 times a week. I find when I can't concentrate on what I need to do or get motivated, that is the time I need to get alone with the Lord. Things will get done eventually. When you spend the time with Him things just go Supernaturally smoother.

I often feel restless because I support 3 kids on a very low income and no money for any extras at all. I don't know how much longer I can go on like this. Prices of everything going up, no raise in 3 years.

I'm lonely because my ex molested our daughters and I've been divorced for 8 years. I'm in my 50's and most men are not interested in somebody with three kids at home when they already have grandchildren.

All I know to do is trust God for what I need now, for the future and to be the Husband and Father that we no longer have. He has always been faithful and we are not lacking for anything we need. It's just not always fun like this though.

dear sassylady

i am deeply humbled to hear part of your story and thankful for your excellent advice.
i have added you to a short prayer list i am keeping, if you ever want to message me you are very welcome.
praise God, he is the best father or husband we could ever ask for, he is more than sufficient.
may Jesus always walk hand in hand with you and your kids.
God bless you

glad to have you here.

lav, I don't know you very well, but I've enjoyed your posts and I'm glad you'e on cc with us.

Sometimes the more we have on our minds, the harder it seems to be to sort each thing out. If that's the case with you, it might help to write down everything that's making you feel restless or confused, and maybe go over each thing one at a time when you feel ready. If you have other things you need to do, just set the list aside for later.

One thing that consistently pulls me out of a funk, is thinking of things that I'm thankful for. Maybe that would help you too, or maybe things will get better with a little time or rest. I will pray that they do.

I often feel the same way you do. But I don't miss the drama that was in my life for so long. Eventually I will date again. But I do get sooooo lonely too!

So I know how you feel. Big Big Hugs to you!!
