Persnickety, I don't know if you will see this or not, but I have a hard time believing that there is any reaction someone could have to your prayer thread and the horrific persecution that is currently going on in Iraq that would be adequate to fulfill what you're looking for. I will be the first to admit that I have not been faithful in praying for these brothers and sisters in Christ even as I have been horrified by what I have been hearing, but I do feel convicted that I need to be.
But if I may, I believe the answer is absolutely not to wish ill upon others simply because their reaction doesn't suit you. You cannot see the hearts of the people on this site in a post or otherwise. I also have to believe that there have been times in your life when you have been apathetic towards an issue such as this. After all, Christians have always faced persecution at some level in some other country since we have been alive.
Blind raging about this is not going to do anything for anyone. I can't help but think that you are going to regret such an overreaction before long. You have an honorable heart for the afflicted, but being so incredibly wound up is not going to cause people to listen closer to you. While you may be hurting for these Iraqi brothers and sisters out of love, the way you speak about wishing God's wrath upon others is not loving. Your responses to albeit terrible posts in this thread indicate that your primary motive here is not love.
So let's be faithful to pray for them and for others who we know are presently facing persecution, and let's call others to join us in laboring for them in prayer, but let's do that in patience and love. None of us are perfect, and there are better ways to express urgency.
Just some things to think about. You'll be missed here.
