I am new here and I noticed that most of the threads talk about dating issues and singlehood problems like I don't have a significant other yet or how will I find that person, etc. Hmmm... now here's my silly question: Is there any chance that the Lord Himself, the greatest matchmaker, will use CC to join two lonely hearts together? hmmmm... just a thought provoking question. can't wait to read your opinions. ^_^ ♥♥♥

It's not a silly question at all. Yes, God has sometimes used CC to foster godly romantic relationships. Some here have even got married. God can use whatever avenue He deems fit to draw people together in His name.

It is possible. My dearest friend/mentor met her fiance here :) Beautiful thing was that he flew all the way from Oregon to come and be with her.

Of course. If God wills to join two people to meet through CC, He will make sure that it happens! But, I wouldn't suggest that you expect this to happen when you interact here. Let God work His plan the way He wants to work it out! :)

I know a few marriages have taken place from people meeting on CC. And a lot of dating does end up taking place. Just be careful not to use the site as a prowling ground for your future mate, as that is not the intent of the site.

I got your point, but i was just saying what i observed. as i indicated in the title, it was just a silly question. it is never my intention to 'use this site as prowling ground for future mate.' just so you know. again, it was just a silly question.
