yes, i have had weird dreams. many. i also went through a period of time where i didn't dream at all, but it could be that i just didn't remember them because i was smoking marijuana almost literally 24/7. i guess it was more like 12/7 though because, you know, the high lasts a little while.

I got to admit, this made me have a good giggle...

I am a day dreamer and often long for stuff that isn't good for me. Like a guy. So in my dreams I get reality checks of how things would actually play out. It's kind of the opposite. That I am being more objective and rational in my sleep.

Okay so I always happen to have dreams of war which leave me drained and exhausted the next morning... It's always the same thing and it's never flesh against flesh... when I talk about war, I'm talking about spiritual war. I find myself in the middle of it all and fighting what seems to be something evil... My sister says I talk in my sleep and I tend to preach lol... It's pretty weird but I have also experienced spiritual attacks while asleep... It comes and goes... I have noticed that the frequency increases as I draw closer to God.

Anyone else experience this?
i have experienced spiritual attacks while asleep. it's sort of hard to talk about, but what happens is i know something is really wrong and i start to try and cry out loud Jesus' name. lots of times i can't say it right away, whether this is because i am still asleep i do not know. the thing is i've woken up and actually been awake and it was really hard to get my body to wake up, i guess scientists call this sleep paralysis... that would be a comforting explanation if i didn't know in my spirit and soul that i was definitely being attacked.

i'm glad Jesus is real.

I know exactly what you are talking about... It's almost like you are wide awake with your eyes shut... you can't move or speak but you are fully aware of your surroundings.. I have to fight to even shout out "Blood of Jesus"

There's a phase of your sleep cycle where you, more or less, become paralytic. Some people can wake up during this, and their body is slow to come out of the paralysis. So you will be awake, but your body is still under that cycle. This can take seconds, or some people, even minutes to come out of. I think i've experienced it a few times, but only for seconds. Barely enough time for my mind to even register.

Does this count when you feel and sense this pressure on top of you, holding you down? At times, I can't even breathe...

exactly. everything you said + the muffled thing.

also, i've had 'sleep paralysis' where what was described above did not happen. there was no demonic presence those few times. there were at least several true sleep paralysis episodes when i was around the ages of 16 and 17 in high school. i can remember distinctly being on the couch, lying face down and not being able to get up from that position. i believe at least two happened during the time i had mononucleosis. i don't know if being extremely tired and sick at that time had anything to do with it, but i also remember it happening when i was just plain exhausted. it happened maybe once or twice again as i was in my early to mid twenties. again, no demonic presences and i was fairly spiritually sensitive during all of those times and also Christian.

i've had both. probably around six to eight actual sleep paralysis and more than i can remember to count of the other.

they're both uncomfortable, but i know the difference.

i know what i mentioned only adds to 5 actual known and remembered non-demonic sleep states i was stuck in and could not move out of... (the first was particularly unsettling,) but i think it's probable that i have had up to three more that i just don't remember specifically. i know i've had at least 5 actual ones, no exaggeration.
