I apologized and everything is all fine now.
I was talking to a buddy who was telling me about his new life as a doctor and stuff which was fine.
He said he was having bad thoughts lately I thought he meant about sex. This is what bad thoughts used to mean when he would say it. He used to be a strong virgin waiting to marriage for his wife.He often talked of giving the gift to his only his wife. He up and disclosed he already had sex. I said that was disappointing. I said it so fast it was a blur. I kind of looked up to him as I wish I waited to have sex years ago and not screwed up so many times and gotten pregnant. He said he has no regrets and sex is for people you feel close to. He won't be judged by anyone he's no longer with the girl but happy it happened and it was special. I feel like those are worldly views and I couldn't help but think "the world sucked you in to the pit too." As I got sucked in all those years ago.
I was wrong for saying that was disappointing.

No... if you are friends I believe you should be able to say that. A friend loveth at all times , but that doesn't mean you have to tiptoe around that subject... he didn't mind telling you he had sex.. after it was something he used to hold so sacred..... So it shouldn't bother him too bad to hear that. I would expect to hear that from my friends if I did the opposite of what I said I was gonna do.

Wait... it's wrong for Christians to call out other Christians for their sins? Oh. Wait. It is wrong in modern Christianity. I was thinking of biblical Christianity. My bad.

In my opinion, apologizing for that particular little slip-up is understandable... but it was just a minor slip of the tongue.. I mean you didn't condemn him and say he was going to burn for eternity or anything like that.
