Depends on personality not gender, I would say. Feelers/heart types are the most romantic, in my opinion :)

Popular culture would probably say women are more romantic than men, but Arwen is right. It really depends more on a person's personality and character.

I think- perhaps i am wrong tho- that more women are feeler/heart types than men. I don't have anything to back that up but it seems at least biologically they would be.

Oh, I imagine there's a lot of truth to what you say. Recently, I've discovered I'm reasonably romantic, which is encouraging.

If I was that young teenage girl again I would say women, but older and stomped on a couple of times I now would say men. I am in the process of learning to love again though if that counts.

I kinda agree with Arwen.

I know for one thing, I used try to write poetry when I was younger. And with that, it kinda helped me write songs that had meaning to me. I had thought about creative ways to be "romantic." But, I'm from a town where that would be merely laughed at. So, their is a trait that is slowly dying in me. :p

I believe it's based on the person to choose to be romantic or not.

I think men are more romantics but women are just better at planning things. Also, I think women tend to be more observant and cautious in approaching relationships but men just tend to jump all in when they really like a girl.

However, arwen is right... That in the long run experiences and personalities also play a big role. Depends what you consider romantic too... Is poetry romantic for you? A creative date? Words of love? Expressions of intimacy and affection? All of that does play a role as well.

Me, personally... I do not find myself as being a romantic person but when I fall on love, I do show love and affection a lot, not just romantically.

*cough cough* Raine, excuse me. I think your boyfriend is feeling suffocated by your show of love and affection. :p

He doesn't look suffocated, just bored. ^.^

Romance stems from emotion, and women are better at emotional stuff. Ever read a book called "Men are waffles, women are spaghetti"?

No, I haven't. But that title most certainly makes me hungry just thinking about it.
