No flamethrowers needed - if you want to remain single and feel that is the direction God is leading you no problems. But you are a little too old to still be afraid of girls/women....lol

Not afraid of women precisely, just afraid of well-meaning matchmakers. Had one elder lady at a church I visited introduce me to her nieces. It broke my heart to tell her I was a bit too old for her 18 year old relatives...

If I were so inclined to be a matchmaker I would at least keep your age in mind and if I knew your personality well I would also work on a match in that area....I am sure you are capable of picking your own female kitty.

Wait.....there's an idea look for a woman named Kitty.
