Hello, I am a teenager and have just begun the process of seeking God. I grew up in an atheist family but they taught me about all the different religions and they support me seeking God. I'm not really sure where to begin, but I'm ready for whatever may be in store.

Again, I really don't know where to begin. I've started by turning away from sinful things that I have done, but can you all help me figure out what to do?

Dear Annagold,
So far turning away from sinful things is a good start and good for you. It is awesome that your parrents are supporting your decision to seek God, which not many will. First things first, I would talk with some friends about a youth group that they go to and start going. It is very important that you get involved in a church setting especially with some people that you attend school with. Remember that God is a redeemer, he will forgive any sin as long as we ask for it. We in turn need to forgive others to receive forgiveness.

Even some of the youth groups will have summer camps that would be awesome for you to attend. If you have any y questions PM me or ask anyone here on CC.

To know every attribute of God and know His will, you will need to prayerfully read the bible as a daily habit.

To know how He expresses himself, you will need to find a group of Christians where they will show you His love.

You will need some Christian adults in your life.

Pray , try speaking to God ,pour your heart to Him.


God is near to all who call on Him in truth.

Seek and you will find , seek Him earnestly and you will find Him.

Try reading the Gospel books in bible--Matthew , Mark , Luke , John.

You can download sermons, worship songs from net that would help you more.
