Worship Experiment
Last night at our small group we took a shot at experimenting with a worship song at the end, basically just one last time to tell God this is all for Him. We're not meeting for us, but for Him. Anyway, I played the song "Fall On Us Now," and man did it hit the spot for our little worship experiment. It went extremely well, and I felt God moving through the room last night. It was so amazing. God is great.
And another quick side note, our small group is going on an outreach here in the next few weeks to a nursing home. Just pray that it goes well. We'll be playing games, visiting, etc. for a few hours so please pray that it goes well. The nursing home we are planning on going to is so excited about the possibility that we are going to be coming and visiting with the people there. My grandma is in a nursing home and the place just feels so lonely. I feel lonely just walking through the halls there. I can't imagine being in a room in a nursing home, and how lonely that must be sometimes. There are some people in the nursing home that we're going to that had no visitors during the holidays. I hope we show them God's love in a BIG way!

my church goes to a local nursing home like every week i went once and i was like wow the old people loved it they go and sing and preach and they love the singing it takes them back and they shared some stroies about the songs and about like their lives was cool then i went and leafleted for like 2 hours in the baking sun my hands were so blue from the leaflets HAHA all in all a very good day!

thats awesome!
back in Jr. High i was in a Choir and we would go sing at nursing homes! it was so much fun and i loved seeing how happy we made the ppl staying there. I wish i was still in that choir! lol. I really want to get together a group of friends and go visit one and just brighten ppls days!
