Yes, we can we can also see movies like American Pie. Is it pleasing to God. No.

Now I'm not saying that God does not want a Christian to watch any movies at all, but the Passion of Christ was acted out by a tree of heathens and the Bible says that a bad tree cannot produce good fruit. I don't know all of the actors that played in it but I know mel gibson and that guy who played Jesus had contrary beliefs.Someone had done research and they said there were 5 porn stars or at least x porn stars that played in thatmovie. I was able to verify that at least one of them was, but it is a dangerous search for a young person like me to do.

Now I'm not saying a Christian can't watch any of Kirt Cameron's movies but those movies are makeing millions of dallors and the Bible says that the love of money is the root of all evil and it make one wander how that might effect the decisions of how the movie is made to make money rather than based on truth.

Finger of God - by Darren Wilson is a really impacting movie, i recommend it because it shows how powerful our God is :) and his new movie will come out next month called "Furious Love" where they go into the darkest places and see the power of evil in action but then God comes in and shows His power and love :)

"I am free to do all things; but not all things are wise. I am free to do all things; but I will not let myself come under the power of any." 1 Corinthians 6.12

You can see all the movies. But you are free to say no to any movie.

I haven't seen the problem in the movie "Passion of Christ." This movie showed the world the unconditional love of Christ around the world. Even if the director or actor doesn't believe in Christ or have any heresy in this film, I believe that many people wanted to know more about this Jesus Christ who died on that cross after watching this movie.

The Passion of Christ focused on The Lords physical suffering, when most of his suffering was through sorrow and the Fact the God the Father turned his back on Him because he had taken on the sins of the Word. That is why Jesus cried out, "My God, why hast thou forsaken me.' Hey I apreciate the fact that Jesus suffered and died for me and I believe that He went through a lot of pain, but that fact alone will not win people to Christ. You have to come to repentance. And they made little or no reference to sin and judgement.

People my think by simpathizing with the Lords suffering gets them into the pearly gates. But what did Jesus say about this before he was crucified?

Luke 23:28 And Jesus turned unto them and said,Daughters of Jerusalum, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.

You see Christ has arrose and we no longer need to morn his death, but be sorrowful for all the people who are lost.

You say it don't matter if the people who act out the movie are Christians or not, well the Bible says that a bad tree can't produce good fruit.

God uses anyone to do anything He wants. Even if the worst of sinners.

See the story of King Cyrus of Peris. Was he part of God's people? No. But God used him to save the Israelites who were captive in Babylon.

It is true that Mel Gibson didn't talk about the real mission of Christ: salvation through the sacrifice of the Lamb of God taking upon himself the sins of mankind. However, I don't see why not watch this film.

Do you think the world would facilitate understanding about the grace of Christ in this film? Never!

But in this movie the name of Jesus Christ was mentioned and many who didn't know the Prince of Peace, will search to see who is this man.

How could God let His only son to save such people (prostitutes, sinners, tax collectors, thieves, etc) so they can enter a holy place called heaven?
If you start judging a product based on the background of the person who made it, sooner or later you cannot enjoy any product at all. Because, we all fall short. We all sin.

Take it as what it is.. I am blessed watching The Passion.. because, I realized how much pain and struggle Jesus had to endure for people like me and you.

Be afraid of becoming a legalistic christian.. those are the people Jesus rebuked the most.

There is a difference between legalism and obedience. Yes the pharasees were legalistic. But they also didn't believe that Jesus was the Son of God. There is such a thing as being legalistic, but there is also such a thing of not being ignorant of Satan's devices.

Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 2 Corinthians 2:11

So, dismissing the passion of Christ because of the actors and actress' background is the symbol of obedience?
Are you claiming that the passion of Christ is satan's devices?
Just want to know..

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. Acts 17:29

That verse just said that we are not to think of the Godhead(Father,Son, Holy Ghost) as something that man devised up. When people go to see the Passion they are thinking of Jim Cavlas(however you spell it ) as Jesus. Did you ever think that maybe we aren't supposed to protray Jesus. I mean who is worthy to act Him out anyway. We read of no discription of how Jesus looked, maybe that is for a reason, but the Roman Catholic Church has turned him into a longhaired hippie.

I also know of some people who didn't go to the theator before that went to it when the Passion came out. Maybe its a tool to get Christians into the theator and then watch all those other bad movies in there.. Just something to think about.

hey hey now cool it.. I am the far most of what you think I am.. So don't be so quick to judge me, we can talk about this.. okay? I totally cry at that movie.. it kills me.. okay?! it KILLS me to know that he when through chastise and got hung from a cross and got backstabbed for such wicked people.. so I give my everything for Jesus.. so please don't say that. Besides I was talking about the people who acted in the movie not literally..
