(1st of all I’m sorry for my bad English)
I’m not a nice looking guy, I’m not rich, I’m not handsome and I’m a geek but this past 5 years, I’ve met 4 girls in my heart but I didn't take each of them as my girlfriend because of some reason and I don’t know why. My young pastor told me that “girls are coming for you but you've always refuse them”.
Let me share my story as a single, teen and as a Christian. 5 years from now, it’s a night before Valentine’s Day I received a text message from my classmate saying that she has a crush on me and I know that she want him to be my girlfriend. The next morning, we have a valentine’s program in our school but that time I ignored him not all the time but always. I’m thinking now that I supposed to say thank you to him for having a crush on me even if I don’t like him to be my girlfriend.
After one year I transferred to a private school “a catholic school” and I also met a girl, a two years younger than me. Through text message also she reveals her feelings to me and I almost take him as my girlfriend but it’s not too easy because the problem to him is she’s a childish and I found out that she drinks liquor and also smoke cigarette sometimes and I hate girls like that. Then the right time comes that I have told him everything that I don’t like him to be my girlfriend. After that I received a message that she hang out drinking liquor became of me “I don’t care”.
After 2 years and I’m in the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] year college and I am the leader of our youth group in our church. I also met a tall girl at school with a nice posture and she has the look. She got my number from my friend and also she reveals her feelings to me through text message. One time I invite him to have a snack with me and she came with her friend and we didn’t talk much because she shy and I’m shy. It’s not a date but for him it’s a date and some of my friends think that I’ve been in a date with him but it’s not a date. I thought that she will be my girlfriend that time and she said that she don’t drinks alcohol and some vises but I found out that she drinks liquor and also my friends saw them drinking and under the influence of alcohol. The worst is I found out that she have a lot of x-boyfriends and some of them are bad boys and I don’t know if she lost her virginity with those guys that’s why I told him everything and say goodbye. After that I found out that she have boyfriend quickly, and boyfriend and boyfriend, I don’t know how many boys.
A few months later, my young pastor’s girlfriend invites me and my friend to an overnight bonding with a girl from the other church, this girl is a nice looking and I know this girl long time ago. After that night I’ve notice that she’s always in my inbox and we do a lot of conversation until the time comes that also she reveals her feelings to me through text message. She said that the feelings developed since that night. I do thanks for that feeling to me and she and I have a lot of experience, walking together, talking together, and also she came to my home. I told to my young pastor for an advice about that because we two are in one group of Christian youth group. My pastor said that its ok because she’s a Christian and just remember that you are a student and a Christian, you must know your responsibility. That time I thought that she’s the one but as times goes by my feelings to him become 50 50, will I take him or not?. That question appears because I’ve notice that she’s too touchy to everyone, she’s just like a girlfriend of everybody. One time during new year’s eve in the church, that girl with my best friend sit together, talk together and so very close just like they are couple. I don’t like that very very touchy girl. I also did a research about her past and she have a lot of ex-boyfriends and she’s always been hang out with boys and I don’t know if she lost her virginity. That time the only thing that she’s waiting from me is the sentence “will you be my girlfriend” but that’s now impossible to happen. I also notice that it have a big chance in our group because of that, I do not want that our group will destroy because of that love. I’m afraid to tell him that I’m sorry, I can’t tell him, I’m afraid to break her heart, the only way is just to ignore him, ignore her text messages until her feelings to me will vanished and until someone, some guy will replace me in her heart. And after few weeks of ignoring her, finally she noticed that I don’t like him anymore. The worst thing right now is my best friend told me that that girl snatch the boyfriend of my course’s mate at school. I also found out now that that girl doesn’t go to church every Sunday.
Right now I’m waiting for someone that God planned for me. I don’t know who that girl is, God knows. The only thing is just obey the will of God, seek ye first the kingdom of God, because my promise to God, to my friends, family is I will become a pastor someday. I’m still waiting for someone. Now I know why, God have planned for me, for everything about what will happen to me in the future. It’s all about God.
