Pride Pride

a very very sad sin witch I have fallen into

We all fall into pride at one time or another.. Repent of it and get on with spreading Christ's love on here.. You ain't the only one who's fallen..

you know what I can put a nice sugar coting on this but I prob mostly wanted atinchen before I left
At my dad's funeral an uncle came up and put his hand on the back of my neck and said "a boy becomes a man when his daddy dies" which was comforting but largely wrong. I think a boy starts his manhood on that day he stops only seeing his reflection in the mirror, but suddenly sees face to face. The day those things he knew in part are known even as he is known by God. 1 Corinthians 13:12.

Brother, I'd prefer if you stayed and all of the trolls were banned and their IPs banned.

You know, I used to work with troubled teens years ago. Most of them were on probation for various crimes. Some very serious. I tutored them because they were under suspension and I also counseled them. Actually, they opened my eyes to reality as well. The majority of them had no regard for their lives, didn't even care if they got shot in the street. I didn't know how to reach them at first.

Then one day I asked the class, "If most of you really don't care if you die, why don't you die for a good cause?" Then I explained, "Make your life count for something good and memorable. Don't have suffered for no reason. Make it count!" I told them how Jesus delivered me from a horrible abusive past and life of depression and gave me a reason to live: He led me to those very young people. I told them that if I would have killed myself, I would not be there to listen to them, to help them, to teach them, to love them. I told them, "If all the abuse I ever went through was for you, it was worth it." I truly meant that, too. My heart was so filled with love and compassion for those kids, but it was absolutely the love of Jesus Christ in me.

Anyhow, several of them softened inside and opened up in front of the whole group. I will never forget one of the toughest guys in the class cried in front of everyone and said, "I wish my dad had loved me enough to discipline me when I was out of control." That got the other kids opening up as well. They became very free in sharing their hearts.

My point is, if you want your life to count, you have to pour yourself out to others. That's why we're all here, like Willie_T said in the above post. We have to be Jesus' hands and heart in this world.

It is almost impossible to ban trolls permanently. IP bans for the most part are useless because most ISPs don't provide static addresses and there are other ways to circumvent them too. But good for average trolls not mega one, haha.

Ya think??! lol.. Sorry, wolfie, I love ya but you were acting silly and foolish. We all struggle with idols and pride and whatnot. I struggled with pride on here recently too, but you don't see me boo-hooing about it on here and acting like God couldn't possibly love me because I have issues..

Some things come across without saying.

It seems like you beat yourself up about sins for which you have already shown remorse and been forgiven. Have enough faith in God's forgiveness that you can let those old things go. He's not holding them against you.
