Forgiveness is both the balm and the glue of our relationships!

God's "do-overs" are truly fresh starts- clean slate without even a hint of chalk dust on them!

Praying and listening to music always help me. And writing things down, a letter to God :)

I work with someone who's motto is, "expect less and that way you are never disappointed." Whenever I get disappointed, I talk to the Lord and my wife about it. The Lord is the great comforter and my wife does a great job of encouraging me.

When you do not forgive someone else, you allow them to continue to hurt you. We can't forget their insults and hurts to us, but we surely can move on, take the high road and realize that they are human too and they have made mistakes. Besides, you are just 15 and life at your age seems so intense, so high on emotion that you do not see that the future is ahead. That future includes you looking back and thinking..."How did I not see that coming?" lol We learn from our past but never let it so overshadow you that you end up can't crawl out of the rut.

I pray first that I'd WANT to forgive them, then I play an instrument, usually piano, until I feel completely calm again. Sometimes I write down my prayers on paper, I focus on what Christ did for me, and the wrong I've done him, instead of the wrong the other person did to me. I can only cry after I've forgiven the person, and those are some of the most beautiful tears I've ever shed.
