So ever since I was born, my parents brought me to church. At first, when I was young, I though of it as a place to socialize and have fun, as I grew older, all my friends became baptized. Something happened, and I quit regular fellowship for about 2 years, when I went back, everything changed.
Now, not only do I not conform with the ways of christianity, I've lost faith and trust in it.
I just don't understand how I can go from devout believer (or what I think I was back then) to a complete non-beliver (kinda) that somewhat "scorns" christianity?
Help? Any advice/experiences?

Well, you said 'something happened'. So, obviously, whatever that 'something' is is the problem.

Coming from a standpoint where you cannot loose your Christianity, my answer would be you were either never saved, or you are now doing what a lot of Christians call "back sliding". Of course, not everyone is of this mindset, but I believe it is what the Bible teaches. Not a big deal either way; the past is past. The future is there for us to make history out of. Make it count!

Seems to me you got a bit too involved with a secular lifestyle. Why do you "scorn" Christianity? Is it because of the rules and regulations that go along with it perhaps? Are you worried about possibly giving up your friends or other elements of your life?

I think your problem may lie with your sentence about church just being a place to socialize and have fun. These things aren't wrong, but they shouldn't be our primary focus or the only reason we attend church.

Well, I may have reworded it wrong?
When I was young, I was in a program called AWANA. Back then, it was a cool place to be for me, you memorize bible verses and you listen to sermons. Now, I call it forceful religious traditions/ daycare for kids of christian parents.
But back then, I really believed I was saved, but looking back, I realized I was one person at church, and another in real life.
Help?

So you felt hypocritical? VVelcome to the body of Christ. lol :D It seems you've hit an identity crisis, maybe social pressures have affected your conduct? Either way know that God loves you and doesn't condemn you. If anything He is patiently waiting for you to walk in the path He has for you, a path that you will find fulfillment in.

Stand for righteousness and don't be a conformist. You know right from wrong. You may have acted different in differing scenarios but that you feel a drawing back to the things of God is revealing of your heart. If you believe in Jesus Christ this very moment, you are saved. It is by faith, hold dearly to this truth and do not allow religious dogmatic beliefs to put rules and regulations on you striving for God's love and acceptance that He gives freely through Jesus. :)
