Hey everyone, I was baptized when I was younger but eventually we stopped going to church and eventually stopped committing myself to Faith of any kind. I thought ideas atheist while I was in 8th grade but that was short lived due to the fact it didnt feel right. I then began to identify as agnostic because I really wasn't sure if anything. I've now gotten rid of the toxic people in my life and am trying to discover who or what I believe in. I have also realized I truly am a spiritual person but I don't seem to follow the typical things Christians believe in. I'm actually quite I liberal person but I want to turn towards God but I do not know how. So I was just wondering why all of you can devote yourselves so fully and how your faith in God is 100% without question. I just wish I could do the same but I don't know how. (I'm not attempting to offend anyone, just simply trying to find faith).

john 10:28 kjv And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. here is a starter if you have accepted jesus Christ there is good news you can never lose salvation but you can anger God if you willfully sin but there is hope for you still Luke 15:11-32King James Version (KJV)[SUP]11 [/SUP]And he said, A certain man had two sons:
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
[SUP]18 [/SUP]I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
[SUP]19 [/SUP]And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
[SUP]23 [/SUP]And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
[SUP]24 [/SUP]For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
[SUP]25 [/SUP]Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.
[SUP]26 [/SUP]And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.
[SUP]27 [/SUP]And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
[SUP]28 [/SUP]And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.
[SUP]29 [/SUP]And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
[SUP]30 [/SUP]But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
[SUP]31 [/SUP]And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.
[SUP]32 [/SUP]It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

That's exactly what is happening to me, so i think i kind of know how you feel. But recently i got this sentence "The Love of God helps you to live for God". I guess it is pretty hard for us to trust something we never see, and we will obviously fail eventhough we have tried so hard to believe Him. So another solution for this case would be: ask God to touch your heart. We cannot prevent ourselves to think logically sometimes, but with the help of God, i am sure that we will be able to feel his existance in our life. Ask for the faith from God. After you believe in Him, of course you can be completely devouted to him. After trusting that he has even sacrificed himself for you, how can you not love and give your life to him?
So what to do is, ask God to be a part of your life, ask God the strength to believe in Him, and that He will soften your heart so that you can get the faith in Him. God bless! :)

When I got convinced that He existed because I asked for signs for a year, I went to a church and when I understood that I needed to ask Him to forgive me my sins and give my life to Him I prayed the sinner's prayer. Got filled with the Holy Spirit and got a relationship with Him. If you believe He exists you can pray the sinner's prayer and find a good church where they can help you, an evangelistic one where people get saved, who do outreach.
If you don't you can ask Him to reveal Himself to you.

I love the fact that you're trying to find faith :) it's good. now im not going to go all preacher on you, and I'm not going to give you a whole bunch of bible verses but I'm going to simply answer your question and hopefully you see how happy i am now that I'm with God. I did kinda grow up christian, with my mom, but my dad... not really. i was mildly exposed to the church and bible camps during the summer but honestly the only way that I've had to find Gods love was by myself, in my bedroom, in my deepest moments. I didn't have a lot of friends growing up, and I never thought i was really liked. going to a public school, this is even tougher. i never really fit in, but when i was alone, with my bible, with music on, and talking to God, I really felt accepted. i felt like he actually loves me. which he does. he loves you too, no matter what. i think if you let yourself feel Gods presence, you will realize that God accepts you for who you are, and he loves you more then anything. message me if you wanna talk about anything :)
