I'm a train wreck but i wrote this prayer last night and wanted someone opinion on it.

Congrats Henry you survived highschool, this is just a letter to remind you of the promise you made, in seven more years it will be time to follow you calling, to do gods work wherever he leads you, i know how trapped it must feel be ordered around by your past self but through the grace of God i hope that i will live on through you and that our noble heart will not be lost in the passage of time. So here now i leave my prayer for myself.

Lord oh lord, this life was never mine to begin with, lend me my years until my twenty fifth by then through your grace will i be prepared to follow your mission. Lord oh lord i have craved for love for grace , for hope and for change all my life. It was only through your love was i able to continue this far. You were the reason why i stayed when i wanted to go, you know my needs you know my desires and in the end all i have is yours. God give me patience to wait out these years, give me joy for each day that i live that i might not forgot the grace that you given me, give me light to bring hope to those in need, give me wisdom so i might find the path you prepared for me, the one the devil has hidden away, give me faithfulness so that even in the darkest night, the greatest of storms, the driest of droughts that i will have light, shelter and water inside my soul. Show me how to love unconditionally like you have for every living soul, give me compassion to heal the blind and sick. God oh God highest of kings, lord of lords, i ask for nothing for myself but to be used as a paving stone in your path to greatness. I may stray from my path lord, but please remind of the miracles you’ve given me the glory you’ve set me for. Now i am Eighteen and in seven years time i will be ready to serve you, make my short life mean something to the world, to the people around me, to the ones so desperate for hope, for light, for love, for joy to fill their empty lives. You have never forsaken me, in my darkest moments have you been loudest, in those moments i was able to glimpse how great your mercy is. From when i breath my first to the day i breath my last you were there. I ask not for great wealth, for fame or for love in this prayer i ask for your guidance as i walk the long difficult path of the cross.
Amen Amen lord.
Jesus my saviour i praise and pray.
Amen.

Now on a more personal note i know that you Henry are forgetful of the past, of the many miracles that have come your way. Now that you are eighteen you will have to make a choice whether you want to follow the goals your past has set for yourself. Here i offer you a choice to keep this letter to be read again at your twentyfifth, or for you to burn this letter and to walk easy path the one that you choose. The Devil is a sly one i ask only for you to consider this carefully as both paths ahead of you will bring much suffering and pain into your life, but where one is pointless the other is committed for the glory of God. In the future the path the lord has set for you maybe blurred but it is during these moment must you close your eyes to the way of men and take a step with the faith of God.

May the lord be with us until our dying breath.

In the name of God, our savior Jesus Christ, and the holy ghost. I end this letter.
