Also I heard this from many people about the pre-elect meaning God chose who was going to heaven before He made the earth so yea and the others won't be Christians and not ever will be and if that is the case in my mindit makes me a bit sad I don't think it should be a pre-elect it sashould be foreveryone who comes to repentance but if the person is not pre-elected I am guessing they won't come to repentance I don't know I think my head may be filled with false things I am not sure all I know is I do not want to enter in to Hell nor do I want my family to go to hell I would fll into a very big depression if I knew that. :(((

Noah, you're overthinking. Sometimes we just have to take things on faith. God is God, and God is good. Anyone who repents is elect. The desire and ability to repent is already a sign that you ARE one of the elect. Why don't you focus on your personal walk with the Lord and leave all that other stuff out for now. Read your Bible, man.

Study grace. Study biblical love. And overthink less. Thinking is good. Constant overthinking isn't great.

Well, that's good. That would be a mean thing to do to your parents.
You mean the scam part? Or killing a dodge by attempting to pull something with it? Either way.....I'm slightly smarter than that:p

Some things only God knows. I can't tell you how He made us. Everyone is unique.

Yea I get that it was hard in my mind I did not think of putting it in an orderly fashion I mean I did not make many spelling mistakes I just did not split it into pararaphs so yea my apologies... and also when you said I did not mention Jesus well to mean Jesus is God they both are the same in a sense if you seen Jesus you see the Father so yea that is the first thing and I know we all sin but in my post I am trying to overcome addiction and a lot more I both pray as well as others I been clean for about 2 days which is good considering the fact it was a daily multiple times a day thing.

Also I get that He has to send people to Hell because He is just it is honestly sad especially since it is forever I mean I can not wrap my mind around it because people in Hell have regret forever I mean I have extreme sympathy for them in my mind I think the really really abd people go there but not according to the Bible because He is perfect than we are all very bad.
Listen I am just a bit confused and mixed emotions and of course no one knows when the world ends but I just wish if we did see God and weren't Christian why can't accept Jesus than if we truly repent and are sorry I don't think it should be too late even if we were infront of Him because some people become Christians moments before they die.

I don't really know I just wish the sentence for sinners was not forever atleast because I know some of my family members were not Christian and according to the Bible they were in there right now gnashing there teeth and waling and screaming.... It is quite the touchy subject to be honest with you. I know Jesus died for me I just have very low faith and in my mind I think when we get the Holy Spirit we are completely different but that is not the case I mean you become a new creature but you still sin and struggle with sin a lot and I been struggling a lot I know there is no excuse nor am I trying to prove myself to anyone I just wish people went to Heaven more because most people are going to hell according to the Bible broad is detruction ... I don't know I mean i think I am being sincere but with me my mind is always all over the place to where I don't know if I am as sincere as I should be I have bad ADHD and bad depression so my mind is always thinking about a lot so yea I been praying but I don't think they will be answered because if I am questioning my salvation than He won't answer my prayers because He only answers prayers to those who are his..
Try not to keep a scorecard of how long since your last sin. I played that game and it only makes the devil's job of making you feel condemned easier when you stumble and do it again. If you accepted Jesus as your Saviour then there is no condemnation. You need to understand who you are in Him, and the fact that the Holy Spirit lives in you.

May God's peace reign in your heart.

"Corbin" is a Jewish term for an old custom, a loophole law the Jews used to keep from having to fulfill yet another law... that of taking care of their parents in their old age. They would claim that they would love to be able to take care of their parents, but the money they have to do that with was already pledged to the temple (supposedly, God), so their parents were just out of luck because God came first.

Yes, they had the money on hand, and available, but claimed it was already "pledged" to go to God one of these days.

Jews are famous for this kind of "dodging" [avoiding... like "dodge-ball"] (nothing to do with an automobile brand) their own laws, but many of the things we Christians do follow the same evasive principles.

Good post. I especially laughed at your dodge auto joke...it gives a whole new meaning to sacrificing your RAM (dodge truck) lol ;)

There is no "desire" to repent or not to repent. "Repent" does not mean to wail and feel sorry about doing bad. Repent means "TO CHANGE YOUR MIND" about the way you have been trying to live... whether in sin, or self-righteously trying to earn Salvation by religiously keeping a bunch of rules, and to DECIDE (repent) to trust Jesus' sacrifice to have been sufficient to purchase Salvation for you.
