Every parent knows how deeply they love their own child, no matter how disobedient they are. How much more so does your Heavenly Father love you? He looks at you and just can't stop smiling. He does backflips in joy and wants to pinch your cheeks! He is madly and deeply in LOVE with you. Do not doubt your salvation, rather cultivate your love with God. Enter a place of prayer with Him where it's just you and Him, no music, nothing. Seek Him in prayer, vocalize it if too many thoughts are racing and you will find understanding about yourself and perhaps receive a revelation from Him of how deeply he loves you. Read his word, a little at a time until your ravenous appetite for it builds.
I believe holiness stems from a love for God, not from abstaining and striving and fear of sinning. Songs of Solomon says that if all the riches of a house were offered for love it would be utterly scorned!! When you love God, you keep His commendments. It's natural because you want to do everything he says. You belong to Him and you delight in Him!
Love God! I would suggest a nice quiet hour of prayer with Him, laying on your bed and just talking to Him. Do not approach him in fear and doubt but as his princess, as his beloved Bride. Tell him everything you told us about it. Listen to his voice. Maybe you will feel compelled to laugh all of a sudden and you won't understand why... Then maybe you will feel him and his belly laughs saying to you, "nothing's gonna change my love for you... You Otta know by now how much I love you... ".
Jesus was the propitiation of our sins. It means satisfaction for sins. He drank the cup of the Father's wrath. Now all that is left is for you to love God and drink the cup of love! Cultivate this love and surely you will naturally stop your sin. You will find that you can no longer bear to do this anymore, that you have a new nature in Christ . You will smile and smile and smile and your joy will bubble forth from you where flow rivers of living water!!
Sister! You are God's beloved rascal, his dear princess. He wants to give you butterfly kisses, pat you head, pick you up and put you on his big broad shoulders of love! He is so excited about you, how unique you are and you are absolutely His favorite! So am I! Only God can love us in this way! We are all his favorite!!! He wants to snuggle, talk, hold you, spend all of eternity loving you! His love is so rich!!! May it permeate your soul!
