Yes, I would be willing to. But my role, as far as you are concerned, is to teach you how to do it for yourself. And here is one way......

When doing almost anything like this, put yourself in the frame of mind that it is not YOU that you are contending for, but instead, it is your little sister you are interceding for. (Doing this works a lot like how you are told to envision the audience you might be giving a speech or performance to, sitting out there in their under-ware.) In other words, de-personalize situations, and you will often be able to handle them much more comfortably.

Alrighty..... ahhhh I'm so nervous..................

Once you have clearly explained your position on dating, then any argument he tries to give is a denial of your right to have your own values.

If you bought that $10 book I keep harping about, you can read the section about a friend trying to get a man to eat hot dogs when he has already told him that he does not care to eat hot dogs. It is a book well worth buying....... or write me if you cannot afford it.

Oy....
I wrote in the note he gave me asking me to be his gf

My apologies, but at this moment in life I am not ready to date. I believe that if it is meant to be God will make it happen, but right now He has a different plan for both of us.

Is this good? Any suggestions?
Don't apologize. Its your life, your convictions, your choices. DON'T apologize.
The rest of what you said is ok. But...realize you owe him no explanations.
I think the whole explanation could, depending on his attitude, give him a false hope. Yes, it lets him down gentle like but it isn't needed.

Repeat after me- I owe him NOTHING. Keep repeating this until God gives you a husband. In like....10 years.

Seriously. You owe him kindness and Christ like love. Nothing more. Don't feel guilty. Don't pity him
Set your own standards and live by them with no shame. In ten years you'll thank God you did and He will reward you.

fine fine. I'll let the frog election go and pray it isn't a foreshadowing of our November election.
If she wins by 75% I'll cry. Legit. For real. No joke. Not kidding. :p
BUT I have complete faith in your ability to lead frogs. Hah. Take that however you'd like :p

Hi sister. I feel you shouldn't apologise at the beginning of your letter. Replace 'My apologies' with something like 'Thank you'. And that's it. I'm not even sure that you should entertain that God may have something there for you two. That's giving him false hope and placing a burden on you. Also, remember if he gets angry or upset, that's okay. You don't need to do anything about that. It's on him. Don't let his emotions control you. You're responsible for yourself. He's responsible for himself. God bless you, mate.

Okay, I have gotten several people to say that, I'll change it. Thank you.
