Sure you are. With a username like that, you're probably a middle-aged man who is into teenage girls.

Stay away teen girls. You can never be too careful on the Internet.

C'mon guys, lighten up a bit. I know we've been getting alot of trolls lately, but there IS a chance that the OP really is a 15 year old kid. Or are kids not allowed to learn more about the bible on here? SMH

Good on you for wanting to study the bible, in so doing you're going to have to learn to ignore some of the nasty comments thrown around. Perhaps fi you start with a specific scripture or question about a theme or circumstance, that would be a good place to start.

Laura, I think you're being needlessly naive. There have been so many creepy people pretending to be teenage girls and it's very dangerous. Yes, I was a bit harsh. But if you know the crap some teens have been through here, you would be cautious too.

I apologise. We've had cases of middle-aged men pretending to be teenage girls. I was being cautious, but in the process I was rude. I'm sorry for that. You'll find girls around your age who may be able to help. Demi and Temporary Circumstances would be good members to talk to about this. Bless you.

Not that this has to be said, but it's not fair, nor a good practice to rush to judgment because someone new happens to be a a girl and 15. She did nothing to deserve that reaction.

On another note, welcome to CC! That's great that you're studying the Bible; hope you find what you're looking for.

Ah the power of numbers in changing the tune. Well said. Sometimes discernment can be a challenge for some and in so doing can install unnecessary fear and nothing productive ever gets accomplished. As was mentioned earlier, well done on taking initiative to study the bible, I am more than up for it if you'd like to nominate a scripture, a theme or a circumstance you'd like to discuss. It's a much needed investment for all christians alike. Looking forward to it.

It's not necessary, this site is a sincere place and great one to get a good start for bible study. I took a snap of a few books on my own desk that I study each day. They may not be for you which is fine, but hopefully it'll give you a few good ideas:
