Hi, my name is Chelsea and I'm 16 years old. I go to a private Christian school and there are 2 boys there that are giving me a lot of stress but at the same time a lot of happiness.

I went to a Christian high school. I liked a guy named Peter Collins, but he had a thing for Amanda Kelley.. lol

Anyhoo, what do you mean by "they're giving me alot of stress"?

Well they're both so different and I like both of them. What one has, the other doesn't

Listen to Demi. She is very smart. :) You're in high school, so this is most likely just a puppy love crush. Don't worry, God will bring you someone when He's ready. :)

It's not that easy to just "stay away from them". I've been friends with them for a long time.

Crushes hurt and I am always happy to try to let people not have to deal with that.

You wouldnt believe how many friends I gave up for God and it ended up blessing me with greater ones that I can count on at all times. It may be harsh but its better to end the friendship before it escalates.. It may not escalate now but it will. They both feel the same way about you and it will end up in a rooster fight. And your in the middle.. best is make new friends and restart.
Now after reading this take a large bar of chocolate and think if its worth it..or not

Chelsea, FOUR separate times, I went out with my good friends. Each relationship ended badly, the first one raped me, the next 2 cheated on me repeatedly and the 4th one tried to strangle me. My point is, NEVER date friends. It usually ends badly.. Like Demi said, if these two boys both have feelings for you, it will become an awkward triangle. :/

The problem is that guys/men are generally very different from us. The younger, the less control they have (and when they get really old it tends to reverse). Im not trying to get you to loose good people, but men are simply complex beings that when it comes to a crush, take it waaaaaay over the top when they feel like their position may be threatened by another guy. and we ladies tend to wanna balance things out and then things get even worse as the guys get scratched by their egos etc..Some things you have to see to believe..lol

Does either of them like you? Because if not, it's kind of a non-issue. If only one does, again, non-issue.

If both do, just date neither. They'll be okay, and so will you.

If it helps any, there were two guys that liked me in high school at the same time. I liked them too. I dated neither, and I'm still good friends with one of them and polite acquaintances with the other. It ended well.

I've also dated a friend before and it ended up being fine, but I wouldn't recommend that when there are multiple friends in the same circle who want to date the same person. People aren't always good with handling their jealousy. (People can be, but they're usually not when they're boys in high school.)

One of them likes me but doesn't want the stress of a relationship which I'm fine with because I don't want one either. The other claims he loves me but right now he's dealing with things.

The first one is a good thing. The second guy is a red flag. You don't want his problems to become your own. And if he's dealing with his own issues, he definitely doesn't need the burden of a relationship or gf right now..

Well he doesn't want a relationship right now. He said he needs to handle everything before he moves on to me. I said okay and I'll wait for him but he said i don't need to wait just when he's ready he'll tell me and if I'm still open to something then we'll go on from there

Then do what he says and move on. If he's not "the one", God will let you know. :)

In your situation I would do what Demi777 has advised.

Just because your friends did that to you does not mean it will happen to others.
Becoming friends with someone you show interest in is a very good idea, and if you have been friends for a while it makes it even better for many reasons.

What i am getting at is it does not seem like the best advise to tell someone "NEVER date friends"
Also, this is just my opinion about dating friends. However I think it best for her to take this to the Lord in prayer and
spending some alone time with him and in his word.

Who knows maybe one of them is the one God wants, but at the same time maybe not. But she should probobly talk to God about this difficult situation she is in.

In love
