Please help me

Recently I was on an app called iFunny. If you don't know what iFunny is, it's an app with jokes or "memes" on it. I was following a harmless, Christian account, and he made a cheesy post that had a picture
of Jesus in a Star Wars-ish outfit, holding a light saber that looked like a cross, and said "Jedi Jesus" in Star Wars text. I slightly chuckled, then scrolled on. But I looked in the comments, and say another Christian account proclaiming that this post was blasphemy. I, at the time, didnt think it was blasphemy, so I tried to argue and say it wasn't. Then the guy accused me and the original poster someone who follows the devil, which is disgusting and I would never do. I'm saying all of this because now I'm worried that because I argued on the the side of the photo, that it could be blasphemy and now I'm doomed and can't go to heaven. Can someone please help me?

Hey Alex ~

I'm sure not a teen ager, but a little advice for you if are ok with it?

social media has given a voice to people that normally are not even noticed...as a result, you get a mixed bag of all kinds of people who vent, give unwanted advice, call names, and are rude and anti-social and think they can just unload on one and all

I use fb...just ignore folks like that Alex...you will never be able to sway them one way or another...they are there just to dump and vex people

sometimes people are hurt and say things they normally would not say...but often it's just angry people being angry....:p

in a way, these forums are quite similar actually...............people are people

it would be ok to say that a person thinks the poster was in poor taste...but it is not ok to say people are following the devil...stay away from people who make those kinds of accusations..

ps....that person has no control over who goes to heaven...if you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, He will keep you and you will find that you learn and change as you follow Him

I personally don't see anything wrong with or find it blasphemous. Not only do we as mankind have a sense of humor so does God. In which I'd love to know more about his humor. For people to condemn eachother over that is ridiculous imo. Plus i'm sure it upsets God when people condemn eachother more than displaying love & compassion for one another.

Well,number one,you're not a spawn of satan and you're not going to hell. You're good. But the shirt was irreverent and we have to remember God is Holy. We had a rule in our home when we were growing up,you dont ever place anything on top of the Bible. Do you go to hell for it? No. Is it sin? No. But my father taught us the book was sacred,its Gods Word and shouldnt be treated like any other book or object. Its a matter of respect for Gods Holiness.

Dont let people on the internet get to you, nor let the internet become your life. If that picture is blsphemy then I am doomed with all the jokes I make. Stop letting the world tell u what you are and what you do. Listen and let God tell you what he thinks.
Even if it were blasphemy, Jesus can forgive all. I didnt see the picture and dont see a bad intent behind it. I dont likr starwars and wouldnt really put Jesus into a meme of any fiction movie or so. Its nothing that crosses my mind.
Now on a positive note, Jesus with a cross lightstaber can resemble him to be all powerful on all levels, even outter space. So where is that blasphemy. Seems more like encouragment to me.
People can argue on this but I dont believe it was blasphemy. I even believe that unknowingly you made a strong statement PRO Jesus. And with that the devil wants u to feel bad.

You've got nothing to worry about. The fact that you're concerned about it actually means you don't have to be concerned because your heart is right with God. Be at peace and rejoice in God's infinite love and irrevocable saving grace in Jesus Christ.

Well, a good rule of thumb on the net (everywhere, actually) is don't argue about something unless it is important. Give and take discussions are fine, but why do you need to argue about something that trivial?

That being said, liking a picture that may not be respectful is not a sign of devil worship! Evaluate for yourself, the Bible has all the answers we need :)

Umm, Wine, where do you see that people here have accused the OP of being a satanist? The only post that even remotely mentions devil worship is Tinuviel's and she said it's NOT a sign of devil worship to like that picture..
