Ok... My name is cheryl, 15, I'm the first born between my sister and I . The reason why I said God is the only one that understands is because in my family, they DONT listen to me. My mum is the best sometimes. At other times... She slaps me, insults me, says that I dont know how to talk. How to talk... That had been my problem right from when I was 7. Everyone thinks I dont communicate well. I feel so tired everyday because my family makes me regret living sometimes. I try and try to please my mum but most times...

Another issue is my school. I left my previous school in 8th grade 2nd term and went to my mums school. Since I started 10th grade( I'm now in 12th), its been back and forth .most times I dont have a teacher to teach me. Now I'm in 12th grade... As I type this message, I'm not going to school. I jx pray to God to intervain in my life

I know all to well about family not listening in fact this happens everyday for me my words carry no merit and no one listens to me. But I simply keep my hearts eyes focused on God and keep moving forward I don't seek to please my family I only seek to please him. You as well need to do this, you cannot please people not fully especially when they don't even listen to you or treat you fairly believe me I know all to well from experience.

I don't know how to be able to fix your issue with school but I will say this seek first the kingdom of God and all else will be given to you meaning seek after God first above all else always desire a deeper bond with him to know him more to develop a deeper love with him. When you hunger after him it's hard to be affected by the negativity in your life and remember if you hunger for righteousness you will be filled

You know what please God the most? while praise and obedience and thanks and holiness do indeed please him what please him most is seeing a child that deeply hungers after his own heart.

I agree with everything that Blain said. I will also add that it helps lessen some of the loneliness if you surround yourself with other people who love the Lord. If you aren't in a church, it would be good for you to find a good, God-fearing one if your parents will allow.

I hope you will stay around and continue to be an active part of the CC community!

Welcome to CC Cheryla! I hope you enjoy your stay here. To some extent, what you're going through is normal to every teenager. And your post title is right: God is the only one that is ever going to truly understands our every thought, action, and emotion and that's ok. He designed us and He knows just what is right for us. Right now He's put you in a situation where it seems like no one understands you, maybe because He's trying to teach you to trust Him. :)

I remember when I was in a very similar situation with my step father, honesty I thought God would protect me and shield me from his insults. But it only made me a door matt more and more, anyway.

Tnx.I believe he is doing just that and I am grateful for everyone' s supportive words. I feel really better now. As all of you have encouraged me one way or the other, the lord will encourage you in every area of your lives.
