What I did...and I had to do this for quite a long time, was to picture a garbage can, put the thought into it and slam the lid on it. Sometimes over and over.

Paul also says to capture those thoughts in another scripture so that was my capturing them. We do have to guard our hearts and minds though. Watch what you watch and take into your mind. That can be hard on us socially but it's part of suffering death to flesh. Or our own humanity.

I also recommend having someone pray over you. I know Rock is blunt in what he says...but it's blunt truth.

Php 4:4 Keep on rejoicing in the Lord at all times. I will say it again: Keep on rejoicing!

Php 4:5 Let your gracious attitude be known to all people. The Lord is near:

Php 4:6 Never worry about anything. Instead, in every situation let your petitions be made known to God through prayers and requests, with thanksgiving.

Php 4:7 Then God's peace, which goes far beyond anything we can imagine, will guard your hearts and minds in union with the Messiah Jesus.

Php 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is fair, whatever is pure, whatever is acceptable, whatever is commendable, if there is anything of excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy—keep thinking about these things.

Php 4:9 Likewise, keep practicing these things: what you have learned, received, heard, and seen in me. Then the God of peace will be with you.

These things are common to us all. Only the world has put a label on them and made them acceptable as a disease without any cure. All a lie.

So, essentially, I suffer from intrusive blasphemous thoughts quite a lot. However, the thoughts don't come at random, but there are some things- actions for example- that can trigger those thoughts.

I know that these thoughts are horrible, and when I know that a minor and an unimportant thing or action can trigger these thoughts, I really don't know what to do- to go ahead, do the action and, if I won't be able to resist, let the thought happen or just don't do the action.

The reason for that I think is that I have minor OCD problems.

These days many many many things can trigger these thoughts in me, because of overthinking and OCD. Therefore, I look for help.

Thank you very much for reading this.
remember that a temptation is not a sin it is an attack of the enemy. it becomes sin when you become a "Willful Participant" to the suggestion. If you were not of God the devil would not bother you. However, you do have to fight by studying the word of God and fellowship with Strong Brother and Sisters in Christ. the things we see and the people we hang around have an influence on us . this is why separation and seeking the presence of God so very important " You are the company you keep". call on the lord Jesus and ask Him to forgive you and start to tell the devil to shut up. :) you are not alone
