Well... it official I give up already. I don't believe in God or his existence anymore.
I just want to live a normal life as a teenager... who doesn't have to live in a christian environmental while being force to go to church. Now I can understand how athiest feel when they mean their being brainwashed by christian people who are pressing them with their belief. Which I can now related.

That's nice. So, why are you wasting your evening on this forum?

Your faith is in people, not God. People will inevitably disappoint you, but God never will.

Look, sonia,
I am about to exit the forum and saw ur post. What you believe in is really up to you, but saying u dont believe in God is one of the saddest things i know to hear about.

Are u being forced to go to church? What is a normal teen life? I know other normal Christian teens-- and adults too-- who are also tempted, but strive to overcome, by the power of the God they believe in. Dont u think the atheists try to brainwash those who believe also? You are young, and while i dont know how long uv been going to church or being 'brainwashed' as u said by adults and others, what i can partly see is that like other young people, u get envious abt things atheists are allowed or able to do... like dress as they please, go out with anyone anytime, etc. But that is only part of it. You do not see their confusion, anguish, fear, pain. There is not much i can say, but that i hope in spite of ur confusion, u do not give in. There is a time for everything, and if u keep on asking, seeking and knocking, i believe God Himself will give the answers u seek. Not in ur time or terms, ok. But He does make all things beautiful in His time. Ppl here be praying for u, but dont allow urself to get into something u cannot get out of.

Well the bible is just there, it's only people who beat you black and blue with it. If people didn't do that, the bible would still be there.

That's unfortunate to hear, but I can't stop you from going that path. All I can say is hope you live a good life, and good luck! :)

A better question would be, why did she even join here if she doesn't believe in God anymore?

I'm thinking she's just hoping that we can convince her that God is real.. :)

I also think she's looking for answers, for someone to guide her out of this ridiculous thought that God "isn't real".

I mean why would she post this statement on this site otherwise?

Maybe she feels, that she HAS to go to church every sunday to follow God (which isn't always true) or maybe she has other problems. I'd say she needs help or advice.

She has a history here of asking for advice, then getting nasty and rejecting it when it is offered. So it's doubtful that she's looking for advice on this topic..

Maybe she's bipolar or has some problems with anger, or is like this "snowflake" generation. I used to be like that when my anger was really bad years ago when I was suicidal, I'd say if she's like that, then she needs counselling and to find an actual real church who will teach her the truth, and stick to them until she gets better.

On another thread, she says she's bi-sexual and that she doesn't believe in God anymore. I agree that she needs counseling, from a professional. NOT a forum full of strangers.

I myself have been through this even dragged up the stairs of a church so I know the feeling being badgered to get baptized just so someone can glory over it,forcing anyone to be a christian is WRONG,serving God is not about high seats,it's not about getting glory,it's not about how many people you can round up,and it's not about gloating,it's about caring for each other as God and Jesus have cared for us,you cannot be a true child of God and do his works when you only keep up appearances or worse harass people into going to the house of the lord for my bible says"I was glad to come to the house of the lord" not mom was glad or dad was glad ,nay it says "I was glad to come to the house of the lord" as in you have to be given the freedom to choose what you believe and no there is nothing wrong with taking kids to church even when they whine about it but when it comes to their decision of whether they believe in and will serve the lord you might as well picture God himself standing right in front of you saying "don't you dare trouble this child" is it any wonder even that it is written that if any should offend a child it were better that a mill stone be cast about their neck and thrown into the sea, because children believe quickly in God and Jesus where as we adults typically don't so I would urge everyone to put aside their hopes of selfish glory and actually LET God guide you to help people come to God,for if God is not in it then you are not righteous, you are self righteous and self righteousness is as filthy rags!

I've been there and lived life without Gd and I came running back. I think this'll be good for her
