i know this is the teens forum but i wanted to try and give u a little encouragement ..we ALL mess up ..bigtime sometimes ,no need in throwin in the towel.we will never get 'it right' till Jesus comes back to take us home . this life is a process a learning one so plz dont be discoursged pick urself up ,wipe urself off and keep goin my friend

We all suck at being a christian. If your a perfect christian, never sin, go to chuhrch everytime the doors are opened, sing in the chior, tithe 20%, save miliions of souls..........you wouldn't need Jesus at all. If you were totaly perfect,you could go to heaven walk up to the throne of God and tell him , "Move over, there's two of us now!"
We all screw up. Jesus hung around prostitutes, crimanls, the sick and the possesed. Because Jesus came for those who mess up.

Hey, we all make mistakes.. Just like a child learning to walk.. We have to take baby steps. If that child falls down and never gets back up they never learn to walk.. It is the same wil our walk with God.. We make mistakes, but we have to get back up and ask forgiveness and Help from God and move on from there and move forward in Christ. Don't give up.. Keep on pressing on.. God is there to help you.. Remebering you in my prayers.

I don't know you at all, (read some of your posts here and there maybe....) and so do not know your situation or what you "messed up" on, but as far as you "suck at being a christian", guess what??? We ALLLLLLLLL fall short!!! That doesn't mean we stop believing!!! Please don't let "messing up" take your faith away......I will pray for you!!!

you never fall to hard to come back, Jesus always waits with open arms. He never turns anyone away, remember "Just As I Am" He will take us just as we are. When we feel tired, torn, worn, weak, like we're worthless, we've failed God or being a Christian or anything at all, He's there ready to comfort us. I'll keep you in prayer, God bless!

HI there, well i just have to say that im praying for you and that it is our job to do what pleases God, to be lights in the world of the dark, to be IN the world but not OF the world, we hav to put God 1st in our lives and have a desire for him.
God has a purpose for us and if we are saved we are eternally secure, anything bad that happens God is in controll and it brings glory to Him!!!!!!
so just remeber that God loves His children and wants more people to love Him back!,

I'm definitely in agreement that every Christian (without exception) screws up at one time or another. The only perfect servant of God was Jesus Himself, and He did it so we wouldn't have to wear ourselves out trying. In paying our price, Jesus set us (and you) free from the confines of the Old Law. God's grace and mercies are new every morning, so there's no need to keep beating yourself up day after day. I wrestle with that myself, having been raised in the "turn or burn" environment. I know its not easy, but God really does love you, and He says you can do all things through Him, who strengthens you. Now, either God's lying, or you are...think about it.
Before returning to Christ, I was stuck in a deep rut. I battled addictions to both slasher films and porn, and later wound up in fornication, adultery, and betrayal...but God freed me from it, and I don't think any words could really express my thankfulness to Him for that. If He can free someone like me from such a terrible life, I'm sure He can do the same for you, whatever you're facing. I will keep you in my prayers; God Bless!

my life has been ruined forgetting jesus in my life. im lost,but i stand firm i dont wanna move a bit again.though is suck i now that juses will come for me so soon. and im gonna wait on him,till the last min. and when i got it back i know that im gonna be seven time as stronger as the latter one.today im gonne learn how to pray again

But honestly, can I let you in on something....did you know that you CANNOT disapoint God?! He knows that we are going to make mistakes...in fact, He knows about them before we even make them!!! We all fail...the Bible declares that "all have fallen short of the Glory of God." However, the Bible also says that "God sent his only son, so that none would perish but have everlasting life."
Please do not think that because you messed up you need to walk away from the Lord. If we were perfect people we would not need the Lord so much! God came for the sinners (which is everyone!)...
Remember also that, failure is not a person, it is mearly an event. You will fail...but guess what? You are NOT a failure in the sight of the Lord! Never have been, and never will be! Step back, turn to Him, and let Him heal your hurt! Once you have confessed your sin to the Lord, He blots them from His memory!!! FOREVER!!! You might not be able to blot it from your memory, but please know that if you confess to Him, the Lord looks at you as a completely new creation! "the old has passed away behold, the new has come." (2 cor. 5:17)

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This couldn't have hit home for me more than today, your message isn't unusual I feel like I suck to. I suck at being a Christian to on so many levels and occasions. Thank God for his Grace, unconditional love and forgiveness. Don't give up cause I know he will never give up on us no matter how much 'we think, we suck as Christians' ... Thats why we all fall short of God's Glory and need him in our lives. We repent.. He forgives! Pick yourself up, brush yourself off, put one foot in front of the other, take one breathe in and exhail and start all over again at trying not to suck as bad as you think you did the day before. God knows, he understands, and he carries us when we fall and can no longer walk. What an AMAZING GOD we have, eh? Be Strong God is always with you if you let him be... He will NEVER leave you, nor FORSAKE you if you are his.
