Bands you listen to don't have to be Christian.


That seems to be a pretty big misconception with teens and their parents "don't listen to secular music , YOU WILL GO TO HELL!"

Hm, well I just like the sound of the music not really the message. I suppose that's good because I've found that the message is questionable sometimes. I did find a christian death metal band and I have to say, even though I didn't like them much, I thought it was pretty funny X 3

If you closely inspect secular music , you will see that they're talking about rubbish that doesn't make sense anyway or probably it's some stupid dumb love song or they try to act " COOL " by wearing garbage that kids get fascinated by .

Rich Mullins, His music to me is phenomenal, powerful, uplifting, and every bit the feeling he was inspired by God. Almost every one of his songs varied in its nature and wasn't specific to any one type of musical style other than being christian. Plus the guy lived humbly and wasn't in it for the money as he gave most of what he didn't need to help the poor. He was an inspiring artist.

Alice, that is irrelevant and you know it. So then should we start sinning as we were before we knew Christ? Should we then go out and commit adultery freely, and murder, and steal, and love idols, and do everything else of the old? Did not we become a new creature in Christ? Or did you ever become a new creature in Christ? Rock music is some of the most antichrist music I know of. And God knows our needs, and I know listening to rock music is not one of them.

Alice, you laugh at the things God hates. You can only be 100% for Christ or for the devil. You are either for Christ or against him. I don't care if Satanism and devil worship are two different things. It is all part of the broad way, and when you get before the Lord one of these days and say "Lord, Lord,..." don't come crying to me because I won't be able to save you. ANYONE part of the broad way is for Satan. That is the BOTTOM line. I don't care WHO YOU ARE, the Bible outlines exactly what I need to know.
