I have been taught through years of church camps, going to church, talking to preists, and catholic schools, that god is all forgiving if you repent. But regardless, is god really going to condemn us for enjoying music that talks about things he doesn't like? Doesn't that seem a bit harsh? To shut out all things in life that people wrote in a book and said god doesn't allow us to enjoy. That may sound like god bashing but I mean no disrespect to the religion. But I drink, smoke, have premarital sex (with partners of both genders I may add), and listen to heavy metal music every day. Does this mean that I'm going to hell? Is god going to banish me to the depths of Satan because I enjoy the pleasures of what his children have created? If we are his children shouldn't he love us and everything we've created and all the ways we've found to express ourselves, especially in music?
No, I wasn't commenting on the music aspect of it. Sorry for veering off topic. I mentioned that part of it because you said that you yourself are not a Christian. Without Christ condemnation and eternal separation from God is guaranteed was my point. So no, he won't condemn you because of your music persay, but because you will have died without having faith in the One who paid the penalty for your sins, which would leave you accountable for all of your sins instead of Christ.

What many people do not understand is that, one does not need to do anything to go to the lake of fire and that because they are already on their way there, which is why Jesus became a human being in order to kin himself to us and be our redeemer.

Genesis 4:24
If Cain is avenged sevenfold, Then Lamech seventy-sevenfold."

Matthew 18:21-23 et. seq.
Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. (read on ...)

Deeper study required ... understand the concept and the point ...

I saw them way back in the day shortly after waking the fallen. There's a line in the song unholy confessions, "I know the way to go, but there's no God in me." I don't know how much clearer you can get. I'm not going to say they're all evil and you should never listen to that garbage, but use some wisdom too. If they've made it clear in their lyrics they don't follow God, and they constantly use themes of sexual immorality, violence, and anger, then it's pretty clear they're not christians regardless of how many christian themed references they have. Machine Head has a song called Be Still and Know, of which the lyrics are very bible based, but they also have a song on the same CD stating that God never answered them, and a song on a previous album stating "This lifetime of sorrow, God let the angels die". Again, pretty obvious they're not christians. Contemplating whether or not a band is "christian" despite the band making it very clear they aren't only leads to self-deception and delusion.
You got it all wrong, pal! The song actually says (I'm listening to it right now, coincidentally) "I know the way to go, no one's GUIDING me" not "there's no God in me"

They display a winged skull, and you have to ask such a silly question?

Back in August 2015 someone already made that correction to Zaoman.
Zaoman made this statement in June 2013.
And he is no longer a member of the site and probably hasn't been for a year or more.
The thread started in 2011.
So, 'pal', you may want to pay more attention before posting.
