I didn't let it get to me,
if you could hear the tone of voice i said it all in, in my head, you would hear it dripping with sarcasm.
I get this kind of stuff daily.
it is the other people I am 'sticking up' for.
cuz I know what it is like to be depressed and have ppl bash you, and it just might be that one thing that gets to you and hurts you, and it might just be that one person who stands up for you that makes you feel better and makes you somewhat happy again.
yes they need love, I can tell, but they also need to have a little respect, and at least watch their language.

However, if this causes your brother to sin do not do it. skinny jeans are fine but if they are causing people around you to lust that is when skinny jeans need to go bye-bye

i wear skinny jeans but to compensate i wear a loose blouse such as a tunic, it looks nice and not "sexy". you can always find a way to dress with modesty and style just being aware of your body and what you could "hide"(in case it draws unwanted attention). ultimately it's your heart what God is most concerned with

Skinny Jeans are not a sin. But your intentions are everything.
Yes we are not suppose to place a stumbling block for others to lust but guys will
LUST AFTER ANYTHING. You can not say girls cant wear this because guys lust. Girls can wear anything and guys will still lust.
This directly means guys should have more self discipline and not girls need to dress better. That is a cheap excuse.
BUT why girls do you wear skinny jeans? why do you wear short shorts? short skirts? Do you do it to look nice in front of guys or get attention?
THAT is wrong. If you seek attention from guys when you dress that is sin. If you do not then it is not sin.
DRESS IS PERSONAL CONVICTION mixed with intentions and motives. If your parents or school tell you how to dress then you have to obey. But by yourself and on your own its up to you. What ever you come up with that is God pleasing and right is the answer.
No one can answer this question for you but yourself. There is no biblical dress code.

Most say "wear anything as long as it doesn't make your brother stumble". But how am I supposed to know what makes a brother lust? Some may lust even if I wear loose jeans, another won't even if I'm with skinny jeans. Is it so relative? Or there should be a certain dress code?

I use to wear em, honestly, it's between you & God. Nobody else. There is really no bible verse on the subject, even then, you're not alive to the law anyway.


In reference to the "respect in Gods temple" comment; we ARE the temple. We are the church. God lives IN us. When Jesus died, the veil was torn! All are welcome! I dress casual to "church" gym shorts, tshirt, w/e.
