Sex before marriage?

I agree that protection should be used for those who are sexually active and aren't married..I do..obviously..cos of the consequences.
But I dont think whichever country should encourage teens to use it. Surely instead of educating them on how to avoid such situations they should be encouraging them to avoid sex until they're fully commited in a marriage. It's very judgemental, I know :S
and I suppose in the end humans are humans..we are given free will(another thing God was gracious enough to give us..) but America has strong values it seems..from my view over here anyway.

In the end people know what they are doing. I realize this is the Teen Forum but still. I highly doubt people do it and say, ''Oh I didn't know.''

I suppose it is a matter of priorities.

I really regret giving my virginity up at such a young age. I'm only a junior in high school, and my first experience with sex was AWFUL. I was uncomfortable, and I told the boy that I wanted to wait, but he had guaranteed that it would only bring us closer together, and so I let myself get caught up in the moment, and I gave in. And after it was all said and done, he took me back to my house 20 minutes later and told me I was nothing but a vag***. It really has changed my outlook on A LOT of things, not just sex, but how to really know a person, and when it's okay to give them a chance.
My advice is to wait... I hate the fact that anybody else is going to go through that, but it is the harsh reality of it.

Sex is a gift from god. You should cherish it with loved ones. Those are my thoughts. It's entirely up to you.
But, I am saying right now, wait 'till after marriage to have children.

I am 100% against sex out of merrige!!! Besides it being just plain wrong, it can ruin lives. It's a diffident don't do.

As Christians, our standard of living is the bible.

2 Tim 3:16-17 "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work."

2 Tim 2:22 "Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart."

These are two simple verses we can follow when encountering this situation. The first verse informs us about what the bible is and the second verse tells us a part of what the bible says about lusts. (I understand that some people will try to run around this verse, but the bible has much more to say about this issue. The bible condemns any form of sexual contact outside of heterosexual marriage. If people that rule or not, is up to them. Is it wrong to have sex before marriage? Yes, it's a sin. Do I believe that the majority of people around my age group believe the same? No, they do not. Statistics say that people are having sex. They might say they believe in waiting for marriage, but if they commit the act they have no credibility to their name.

I totally agree we should wait for marriage OR at least a very strong commitment.
But you can't really teach teens just to be abstinent, because it won't happen, especially in late high school and college. The health center (it's like a cheap doctor's office lol) at my university give out free condoms to anyone who needs them. I think it's a great idea. B/c it's ot really enabling them, b/c people will have sex no matter what. But it will protect women from becoming pregnant and everyone from HIV and other STI's. Of course we SHOULD wait for marriage but when teaching kids, you have to realistic on the matter.

People can condemn all they want. People will have sex and some will start young. I don't think starting young is a good idea but worse is getting pregnant or an STI. So I agree...not a good idea starting too young but if u do.... use a condom

Sex before marriage is a SIN and that's that no changing it SO IT DOES mater Zoii you have to be marred to give in to sex if not you are comiting a sin under God's eyes and please don't bring up zombie threads this one is dead most on the post have left the site

Well firstly, my point was that I personally am not supportive of supportive of sex at a young age anyway...as for me personally...well pffft so not interested. But whether you like it or whether anyone here thinks its a sin, young and old people alike have sex. Its a fact wolfgaming so....sin or not.....my point was that whats important is that if people have sex its protected sex. Very important to stop pregnancy and STIs. Lastly...it wasn't me that revived the thread it was Fanniehennig but personally i'm glad he did. I guess you don't think its a topic teens would wanna discuss but obviously Fanniehennig did and I agree with him.

i am a Christian Zoii and this site has many Christians you don't even call your self one why do you post here and does the bible say condoms are ok? NO if God wanted us to use them he would say use something to SOTP THE NATRULE AFECT GOD MADE
this is why sex if for marriage and if you don't want kids don't have sex with your wife/ husband simple

point condoms are not right by the bible and sex before marriage is a SIN
