I just wondered what you thought about it when God fills people with the Holy Spirit and people start speaking in tongues or start shouting out praises to God and start falling on the floor? I've been brought up with it being in an Elim Pentecostal Church all my life so it's never bothered me. I've never experienced it because I'm too scared to experience it or have been in the past anyway. I remember my mum telling me recently that she'd heard of a Church who'd experienced rain in the building and others have had jewels. I think it's amazing - God does some amazing things! I'd love my none Christian friends to see it and hopefully they'd feel really blessed by it. When I get home from High Wycombe I'll look on YouTube for some footage of rain and jewels

I looked on youtube and couldnt find any videos with rain or jewels but I found gold teeth http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WW-dUYjVJwg
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfCgWHV4lOY Also I forgot to mention gold dust. Just over a year ago both me and my sister were walking away from Church with gold dust all over us, none of us had been sat near each other or sat on the same chair. I'd been in sunday school helping with the 3 to 7 year olds and all we'd been doing was colouring in, we had no gold glitter or anything it was all God :)

We live in and age where I think we have to be very careful as christians, what you believe...Seducing spirits etc. I tend to crossreference everything with the BIBLE if I can't find a scriptual reference I don't believe it and I'l'll file it somewhere in my brain as no offense (nonsense). Check out the bible tha's my advice to you. God Bless.

I was raised Pentecostal myself and I believe in the spiritual gifts such as speaking in tongues and prophecy. However, I have seen and heard some things in and from certain charismatic circles that I've found to be questionable. The only way to be sure that the manifestations that you all are talking about are indeed authentic is to look at the fruit of such manifestations. Are people getting saved? Are people getting healed? Are people getting delivered? All of which are works of the Holy Spirit that man can not duplicate in their own power. If indeed these things are happening then you can be almost sure that the other manifestations are indeed authentic.

Like Jaylynn I too was brought up in a charasmatic church for a majority of my life. I was also raised in the baptist community as well. I too have never seen rain or jewels but I do believe that God moves in some rather mysterious ways and in ways we cannot and may never understand. But remember, all things are possible through Christ Jesus who strengthens us.
