Thats because God is real and people are afraid of that. Seriously think about it when someone stubs their toe why don't they scream Allah or Budda. In some part of everybody they know God is the on true God
Yeah thats what I thought just didn't have the right words for it at the time.
Theres this one girl at Church who were in the same year as me at the same school, she's on facebook and myspace etc. and she won't say that shes a Christian on either of the profiles and she won't ever say anything about Church is her statuses or bulletins. She's kinda emo/scene/punk etc. so either she really has a problem with Church because she constantly moans about Church and the fact she 'hates' going or its the fact she just doesn't want to admit to people that she goes to Church. Me and my sister have talked about it before, not to back stab her or anything we just wonder what each other thinks but we both think she's not a Christian but she'll go to Church when it suits her. I know she goes out clubbing regularly and drinks but its not really that that makes me think like that, i think its her friends that are influencing her

Why do you sometimes not share proudly that you are God's child?

Where has your passion gone?

I think it is only fair that I answer the questions I am asking.

So #1 I fear what my friends will say I know they would leave me (and the few that do know I am a Christian have left or only come by once in awhile to see if I have fallen so that they can use me). Also I fear that I would be a bad example because I often mess up and I don't want people to think Christianity is a joke because I keep messing up.

#2 My passion is still here but is sometimes muffled by my desire to impress and be loved by my friends.

Alright guys/gals teens/adults feel free to answer and please answer truthfully I did. It could even possibly help you.

I feel much the same way. it angers me, it REALLY burns in my heart those questions.
Chrsitianity isnt 'christianity' as such. its not a reliegion.
i believe for our generation of young pplz to really LIVE it out for God, there needs to be people like us to start... once its started it will spread like wildfire. read about Rachel Scott "rachel's tears" one young person like us who didnt just live superficially.

i want that.

ill answer the questions.
1. i feel too hypocritical a lot of the time
2. it never left totally, just dulled because i made wrong choices, and hated myself too much.

I actually created this thread to make people think but mostly so that people will think about this thoroughly and decide to be more public with their faith. We are the leaders of tomorrow we need to start leading now! I believe in God not religion. Anybody can go to church every Sunday and know the bible frontwards and backwards, but thats just religion. Satan believes in God but it does not mean he is saved. We need to take charge and show people the relationship we may have in Christ, and live everyday not just Sundays for him. Sorry that was my little speech.

About the wrong choices don't let that get you down don't hate yourself. If anyone should know about bad choices it's me, but we are forgiven, and although we can never forget those choices and what they have done to us Christ will begin to heal us.

You know that is a good subject to talk about. I'm usually a quiet person but since I know who I am in Christ I stick to the standards He wants for me, and I let those around me know that I'm not not going to do this or that just because it seems popular. I tell them straight up, I'm doing that and yes I do pray in the mornings and have Bible studies ..etc I think that we must start out with our friends inside our circles. We should start out with our friends first so that we can have a better support group when we go to teach the gospel. Pray for those you hang out with , pray for them more than you pray for your best friend! And especially pray for those you don't know... and there's nothing wrong with sitting by someone no one would really hang out with at school or other places.

I think it's cool that you brought this up. It let's me know that I have to step my game up. And truly represent the Kingdom because I'm a part of the Kingdom seated in the heavenlies with Christ.

My friend and I were talking today and she said that the most rebellious people on this earth are christians , because we choose to follow Christ and are very advant about it. Because we choose Christ, it's deliberately making a change for ourselves and wanting to putting the clothing of our old life aside .

Thanks for posting this :]

Amen! We've got to live out our faith. Christians "talking the talk" but not "walking the walk" is one of the biggest influences in turning people away from God. Jesus says, "They will know you are my disciples by your love." Do we look like Jesus' disciples?

I've got to say, though, living as a Christian gets a bit easier in university. Remember that being a Christian isn't always going to be easy. "The slave is not greater than the master." Jesus suffered, and we may have to suffer at times too..
