How many of you can drive? How many are going to drive once you get the chance? Being a teen driver is scary so lets share some stories!

I'll start. When I first got my license I decided to take all my friends and go to the mall during lunch. Well we don't have a long lunch time so I was rushing it a bit to the mall, and I took a corner really quickly to avoid a car that was coming quickly. My friends freaked out and wouldn't stop talking about that corner I took while we were at the mall so on the way back while driving I assumed the 10 oclock 2 oclock position on the wheel while I angrily told them fine I will drive safe now. As I was saying this I noticed everyone tense up still angry I said "What's wrong now?" To which my friend replied "You just ran a red light!" Worst part at the lights just ahead of me there was a police car waiting. Thankfully he did not see me run the red. But now that I look back on it it's kinda funny!

I also took those pre driving courses before I got my license and oh man are people every mean when you have a "Student Driver" sign above the car your driving

Anyways I want to hear your stories (I'm a driving addict thats why I'm asking)

Oh another story of mine is one time me and my friends decided to go horseback riding. After going on a couple trails we decided to head back home. Well not really we were done riding horses but not ready to go home so we decided to discover the country. We found what seemed to be a deserted gravel road, and I let my friends drive. Neither of them had their license and they were going really fast. Me being the smart teenager I was thought I could do better so I floored it. Speed+gravel=bad I reached 140 before losing control of my car and flying into a farmers field taking down a barbed wire fence with me. The car had landed on its side and nearly flipped over but luckily due to the weight on the opposite side landed on all four wheels again. We were stuck for an hour we tried to get this rusty barbed wire fence out from under the car. Finally we saw a truck and thought we were saved. But it turned out to be an old man who yelled at us because our generation is killing the roads. He then called the cops and left us. Not wanting to get police involved we tried extra hard to get the car out which ended up in me getting a rusty barbed wire in the back of my calf and several injuries and sun burn. Anyways we couldn't get it out and the RCMP arrived did the usual license registration and said well do you want me to call a tow truck and when we said no he just left no ticket no nothing. Anyways after three hours we finally decide to have me and my other heavier friend sit on the trunk while my lighter friend drove forward. It worked we were out, and homeward bound. Except my car was dusty :p

Sorry about the long story but it was a highlight sort of to my life. Three girls able to get their car out of a ditch. SUPER WOMEN!!

I havent started learning yet but my dad used to let me steer the car from the left hand side (passenger seat) when I were about 7 and I weren't looking where I were going and nearly smashed us into a car, thankfully my dad were in the driving seat so he grabbed the wheel hahaha. Weren't funny at the time but it's hilarious now.
I'm not sure whether i'll be a crazy driver or not. My dad used to take us into the village roads and he'd drive at a stupid speed and cos the roads were so uneven we'd often fly several feet above the ground or when there were no cars around we'd go 'FASTER FASTER ALI ALI ASTER' and going to this park called Shibden there were loads of cobbles and we'd go 'bumpety bump' everytime we went up and down the cobbles hahaha. I'll either be like my dad or I'll be a sensible driver. My mum's ridiculous, i could walk down the road faster than she drives hahaha talk about safety

One time, I was passing through a city; and a car with the big "Student Driver" Sign on its roof came on the freeway and jumped right in front of me doing about 40mph. The didn't use thier blinker or even look to see if it was clear to merge(which they didn't do correctly) I was scared to death!!! I thought for sure I was going to mow them down. slowing down from 60mph to 40mph is not an easy thing to do at a moments notice.

Did I mention I was in an 18 wheeler, weighing just under 75,000 pounds?
