I am personally quite a history nut so I can go on and on and on and bore you to death, so I'll keep this short and sweet.
A bit of background on Hitler:
World War I had ended with the defeat of Germany. They felt humiliated by the conditions of the Treaty of Versailles written by the 3 big powers (the presidents) of France, Britain, and USA, and Germany had no say what so ever. Aldolf Hitler was actually a soldier in WWI. Many German soldiers (including Hitler) felt betrayed by their people (especially the politics) as they were withdrawn when they were still on enemy soil and believed they could continue fighting on. Many people shared this common feeling so Hitler had quite some influence over the people of Germany and quickly rose to power.

So why exactly is his name heard so often? Why is he so famous? What is he known for?
Simply put, Hitler was responsible for the Jewish Holocaust. He had a strong belief in social darwinism which was about the survival of the fittest, how only the best survived in th world. This allowed Hitler (and along with his hate of Jews as he believed that the German army was not beaten fairly because it had been betrayed by the Jews, which he called the "evil partners" of the Allies. Hitler thought that the wealthy merchants and the international bankers, which were mostly Jews, had given all of Germany’s secrets away.) convinced most people to believe in the Holocaust. Hitler (yes, I know, he is a bad ass villain)was one of the most influential leaders of the world. He had a talent in public speaking, which was essential to winning the hearts of people. He is also famous for his uncanny luck in escaping MANY attempted assassinations and for doing everything to the extreme (I've forgotton the term for it...sorry).

So there you have it, a extremely brief history lesson :p

quirky fact: Did you know that a Jewish surgeon had operated on Hitler before he came to power?

Hitler also had a poop fetish, look it up. (warning, it is gross)
Lol the warning on this post is excellent.

Hitler was a painter, there is a really good movie out about hitlers academic life as an artist. I believe it is called "max."

I love how the Hitler enthusiast compared hitler to Rick Perry. I wonder how Rick feels about that.

Hitler claimed to be a christian. I believe he attended a lutheran church.

As ritter mentioned, i find Hitler fascinating. He had some of the most extremist views in all of history, but everyone loved him. Some views so extreme, he didn't even fit the criterea. Hitler wasn't even german, he was born in Austria, and i believe he is of Jewish bloodline through his mother. It's funny how much a crowd you can get by throwing the word change out a lot. It can still get bad leaders elected as we have found out.

I'll tell you who was Hitler.
He was a man who didn't kill with his own hands any human, but with words and commands which he has given he killed over 6 MILIONS Jews and 3 milions of Poles.
As that I'm polish, I know how much impact on my country he had. Family of my great-grandmother was killed, she was not able to learn, to taste life. Nothing! Today we should be able to appreciate the fact that we live in a world where we do what we want.
Personally I think that Hitler did not believe in God. Someone who believes in God can not kill in cold blood so many people.

Okay first off you need to know a bit about Germany at the time Hitler took power. After the first world war Germany was paying massive amounts of reparations to France and had to abide by other unfair terms laid out in the treaty of versailles. This was because the Germans were blamed for starting the war, however, some disagree and say Austria started it as they were the first aggressors. Anyways, Germany was in a depression the Germans were unhappy with their situation and this led to the rise of the National socialist german workers party which we called the NAZI party (Hitler never referred to himself as a NAZI). Hitler started his rise in beer halls saying that the cause of all Germany's problems were the treaty of Versailles and the Jewish people. Many historians will say Hitler targeted the Jews because they had all the money. This is probable as the Jewish people of Germany did own most of the small bussinesses and had a large portion of the wealth. So ultimately Hitler targeted them out of jealousy. So when Hitler began to rise in power through the parliamentary system he eventually gained the position of chancellor which was the second most important role in the german political system next to president (which at this time was Paul von Hindenburg). But when Hindenburg died and the elections were called Hitler gained the popular vote (some say through coercion and group mentality i.e. bullying).

So at this point hitler was in charge and decided to merge the powers of chancellor and president into fuhrer. This was when Hitler really started to become the evil monster (excuse the bias but I think it's called for) of history that we remember him as. This was also when he started pressuring the allied nations. Taking the smaller countries around him, one of them being poland which ultimately started the war. When he took poland he also started building the concentration camps. The concentration camps were the place that over 6 million jews were killed in gruesome and inhuman ways.

So when you tally up all the things Hitler did you can say he was a sadistic murderer who took power when his people were at their weakest. He did this because in his mind he was curing his people of all their problems. However, you asked if he would be the anti-christ of todays world you must consider that the crime he committed was murder (on a massive scale). Keeping this in mind you need to know that there are two others in history that have killed more people than Hitler. The first is Joseph Stalin the communist leader of Russia during the 2nd world war who killed over 23 million as compared to Hitlers 12 million. The next is Mao tse-tung (Mao Zedong is what the west called him) the leader of China from 1943-1976 who killed a staggering 78 million which is double what Hitler and Stalin did combined! So to say Hitler is would be the anti-christ is greatly overstating the damage he did in comparison to others.

Sorry for such a long winded explanation but I hope this answered your questions.

I like history but I like history & philosophy so I search for people, their ideas or ideals... & then I feel sorry for the ones who made immoral & unethical decisions. But study the ones who chose life, liberty, & sought to pursue happiness for as many people as they could.

Its even more saddening that some leaders never knew God, some chose to ignore God & the worst chose be "liberal" with His word.

Hitler, to me, was a greedy child who probably never owned up to his failures. He was scared to be seen as weak so he rarely wore his glasses that he needed... brat.

Adolf Hitler was the Fuhrer of Germany's Third Reich and he was the leader of the Nazis. Hiter believed that white people were the "master race". He is mostly known for his hatered of Jews and because of this he had his army slaugter hundreds of thosands. The ones he didn't kill were sent to Death Camps where they were forced to worked in filith and diease to support Hitler's army. Couthless died in the camps and Hitler had the bodies buried in mass graves. His killing of the Jews is called the Holocast.

He is rumored to be the anti-christ because most people can't understand how Hitler convience tousands to join his army and kill innocent people whether that be men, women, or child. He started World War 2 and I heard a rumor that he wanted to rule the world.

If you want more information read up on the history of World War 2, Adolf Hitler, or the Holocast.
